The side dishes were average, and the miso soup wasn’t made from well-prepared broth either. It was just instant miso soup dissolved in boiling water. There weren’t any other ingredients worth mentioning besides herring. Since the herring was delicious, I can overlook that aspect.
However, since this restaurant prominently displays "kaminarishiki" on its signboard, it cannot truly be called a lunch restaurant. Therefore, it would be better to highlight the dedication put into the kaminarishiki portion of the menu a bit more.
In a dish like grilled fish that is reheated, and one designed to attract customers, it can be easily assumed that efficiency is prioritized over quality.
I don’t simply think that being a corporate restaurant means there are limitations. I believe there’s room for improvement (in fact, even within corporate settings, some restaurants have made significant efforts to achieve high customer satisfaction). However, it’s unfortunate that in our case, there wasn’t much evidence of effort from the corporate side.
The aforementioned “Kamabochi Sushi Wasaibai” (a franchise store of the same chain) also received a very negative review from me. It seems that the Jairo Holdings group may not be on the same wavelength as me.
