【Revisiting】
On the weekend, around 12:30, we visited again for a gathering meal.Cow Shabu KaisekiI received a charge of 6,000 yen.
The drink is oolong tea.
Appetizers, shishya-shishya, and pot rice were already set out on the table.
Appetizer Plates:
(From the left, there are some dish names that I have arbitrarily chosen for convenience.)
(Probably)Fish jerky:
Walabi no Yama Tako KakeOn top of the wabis cooked with the broth, there was mountain yam.
Grilled Waterlily: There was an added touch of fragrance.
Taru no Nishi-kyo-yaki: The Kyoto-style miso had a gentle and pleasant taste.
Sweet potato and carrot stew: それらは蝶や花びらの形に型抜きされており、どちらも甘く煮込まれていました。
Yutaka: (さつまいもと人参の煮物の後ろで画像では見にくいですが)丸いドーム型の寒天の中には、エビの切り身と枝豆が入っていました。
Sasa Sushi: (同様に、笹しか画像には映っていませんが)エビが上に乗った小さな寿司が葉で包まれていて、ちょうど良い塩梅でとても美味しかったです。
Komatsu vegetable stew: It was placed in a glass-type Edo ware container, and it had a delicious umami flavor due to the excellent broth infused within.
The broth was extremely elegant, and the food was delicious.
Cow Shabu:
The meat was sliced thinly and tender. When served with the prepared sesame dressing, it tasted delicious, thanks to the rich flavor of the sesame dressing and its smooth texture.
Chawan Mushi:
Since both of us love these ingredients, we enjoyed them very much.
Seasoned Pot Rice:
The cherry ebi, filled to the brim, was fragrant. The rice, cooked tenderly, had a slightly sweet taste and was delicious.
Left dishes: It had a red broth flavor, with dill leaves inside.
Tempeh:While I was enjoying the pot rice, it was served in a slightly different order...
We ordered two duck steaks and lion-shaped noodles, served with matcha salt. Since the amount was small, it didn’t make much of a difference in terms of taste.
Dessert: The almond tofu was topped with dates.
The agarose was quite hard, and the almond flavor was weak. However, it was cool and refreshing, with a gentle sweetness that made me happy after eating it.
Last year's menu had a slightly reduced number of items, but the ingredients were of higher quality. It gave an impression of a more luxurious dining experience.
The seasonally sourced ingredients are prominently featured in the cuisine, giving it a clear and refined taste. The presentation is also beautiful, and I believe each item was carefully prepared with great care.
At home, it's simply not possible to use such a large number of ingredients to create a variety of delicious dishes. Therefore, each dish was prepared with care, making for a delightful meal.
The price has increased significantly due to the current high prices and the cost of ingredients. However, I was satisfied with the service, so that's good.
That day was a very pleasant sunny day. Although we didn’t stay there for too long, we were able to enjoy our meal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Last year, I felt a coldness in my feet. However, since the temperature outside was different this time, there was no problem at all.
This year, perhaps due to the early progression of the seasons, the cherry blossoms in the garden have begun to fade. The light purple sakura are at full bloom, and it looks absolutely beautiful.
Indeed, it's not just the food that should be appreciated here; the overall landscape, including the interior and exterior of the building, as well as the gardens, should also be enjoyed together.

A Japanese cuisine restaurant located right next to the bus stop at Keikimachi 3-chome, from JR Tachikawa Station.
As one passes through the warm gate of a Japanese house surrounded by a garden on both sides, they take off their shoes at the entrance and put them in the locked shoebox before entering the building.
Along the way, there were exhibits that gave a sense of history, and further along the passage, there was a large hall suitable for gatherings of a large number of people.
In the Japanese-style rooms equipped with carpets, tables are neatly arranged in rows.
On a certain weekend in April, around 12:30 PM, it was used for a dinner event. What was served was...Special Colorful Dinner with Soy Sauce and Pork Shabu¥3,300。
The appetizers, dishes, and tea bowl steamed foods were already set up.
The drink is oolong tea.
Appetizer Box: From the upper left, clockwise (the dish names are simply my choice for convenience).
Water vegetable salad:The dish featured a refined broth, with watercress that retained just the right texture.
It was cool and refreshing, and very delicious.
Egg and vegetable stir-fry:壳付きのエビの下には、インゲン、筍、人参などの野菜が、甘みを帯びた出汁で柔らかく煮込まれていました。
Grilled Fish:
Ingen's Inada-style Potato Soup:The yatake sweetened with a mild flavor of mung beans was placed on top of the Yamato taro.
Beef Shigure YakiThe beef fat has been properly removed, and the flavor of ginger is brought into play. It was cooked in a sweet-and-sour sauce.
CraftingFrom left to right, there were haihagi, salmon, and taima. The haihagi was about medium-sized, and the salmon also had a lot of fat, making it very delicious.
Under the arugula, a clump of radish was laid out.
Chawan Mushi:The dish features sliced bamboo shoots and radish decorations in a cherry blossom pattern, making it extremely springy.
The top of the gentle-style steamed dish contained yuba, offering a sophisticated taste and a delicious experience.
Suki Tōshabu:
First, add vegetables to the broth. Once the broth boils, add the meat. While the meat is still not too tough, add wasabi to the soup and enjoy it accordingly.
It’s thinly sliced, but the meat has a rich umami flavor, and the vegetables also have a sweet taste. It was delicious.
The shrimp were a bit small in size, but they were firm and crispy. The fried batter had a fragrant aroma.
Seasonal Senryo Rice:
The fluffy cooked rice was slightly sweet and well-seasoned, making it very enjoyable to eat.
Miso Soup:There were Aosas inside.
Dessert: The brownie was topped with soy milk. It had a gentle sweetness and taste that was truly delightful.
Lemon Tea:
The dish was served with a type of comb-shaped lemon. It appeared to have a dark color similar to coffee, but it didn’t have any unpleasant taste.
A gentle flavor that evokes the elegance of Japanese cuisine, with a well-crafted sauce. The dishes were served in small portions, allowing us to enjoy each ingredient deliciously.
The presentation, which exudes a spring-like seasonality, is beautiful. It seems that each item has been carefully prepared.
Even if the portion is small, it was enough to make me feel full by the time I ordered seasonal rice with side dishes. So, even for men, it seems to be a quantity that can generally satisfy their needs.
The food was served by a female staff member dressed in a kimono, who gave a polite service.
It was a chilly day, so even in the room where the carpets were laid, it was still a bit cold to the feet.
(After the meal was finished and I was about to leave the room, I noticed that a footstool had been placed nearby.)
The seats were also designed to be comfortable, and acrylic boards were placed on the tables. Since everyone kept quiet during meals, I was able to eat with peace of mind.
This restaurant, which was built in the early Showa period, offers a unique experience. The furnishings displayed inside the store and the well-maintained garden on the property are truly impressive.
I was able to visit during a period when the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, so it was great that I could enjoy the springtime scenery even though it was only for a short time.
A good choice for occasions like family or friends' anniversaries, or formal gatherings.
Not only the cuisine, but also the interior of the restaurant and the garden on the premises should be enjoyed together.
