No matter when you eat it, these sushi dishes here are truly delicious!
Including the atmosphere, visiting Kyoto always makes one want to stop at this place.
During this period, it is considered the best season for cherry blossoms, so the place is extremely crowded. Most of the visitors are foreign tourists.
This time, I ordered regular slush sushi.
It seems that the price will increase in a little while. But in these times, I'm quite satisfied just getting such delicious sliced sushi for 1700 yen. So, I think it's inevitable to raise the price.
Chirashi sushi features distinctive kago (golden silk eggs), a variety of ingredients that are well-marinated, and the shari that has been soaked in vinegar. All these elements combined make this sushi truly delicious. (๑>◡<๑)
By the time I returned, there were many foreign tourists outside the restaurant. Of course, Japanese people, but I really hope that foreigners will also learn about this delicious food.
And even so, there are too many foreigners ∑(゚Д゚)
It’s a bit of a challenge to have weekends and holidays as days off, but when I visit Kyoto again, I will definitely stop here again!
Thank you for your hospitality!

It's my first visit to this restaurant since the first time I visited it, and I really fell in love with its atmosphere. This is my second visit in a year.
And, once again, this time was simply outstanding!
Last time, I had regular chop sushi, so this time I ordered chirashi sushi with scallop.
On top of the densely packed gold thread eggs, there are also a large number of clams.
The dressing applied to the octopus is just the right consistency, and it's a great choice. Moreover, the yakisoba with strong vinegar is absolutely outstanding!
Another feature of this restaurant is the "Kinchima Egg". It's quite difficult to explain in words, but it seems to be something different from ordinaryinchima eggs. And that's exactly what makes it special!
Although I prefer ordinary slush sushi, I still had a good time just like last time!
A famous restaurant that wishes to remain in Kyoto forever!!

The first visit was just the day before, and the deliciousness of the food made me decide to visit again. I had breakfast in the late morning and arrived after 10 o’clock. There was only one customer at the restaurant.
This time, in addition to the sliced sushi, I also ordered the dried pork rolls. The sliced sushi is still delicious even after eating it for two consecutive days. The variety of pickled ingredients, eggs, and vinegar rice work perfectly together. It seems that the rice used is from Koshihika in Shiga Prefecture. Personally, I really like the combination of vinegar rice. Each ingredient is fresh, and the umami flavors are clearly felt.
Kanpōmaki has a rather mild salt taste, making it easy to consume quickly. It serves as a good finish to the meal. The preparation was done with great care, which was clearly evident.
In the end, everyone in the family warmly welcomed us with words like "Thank you very much." I really want to go to Kyoto just to eat this... I will definitely go there again!!

I arrived at around 11:30. There wasn’t a single line at the counter, so I sat down there. Of course, my first order was chop sushi. I had eaten too much yesterday, so my stomach wasn’t very empty. I was worried about whether I could finish it, but as soon as I started eating it, I couldn’t stop eating. I didn’t know that chop sushi could be so delicious. The eggs were not too sweet, and the ingredients included a large amount of salmon, tuna, mackerel, octopus, and abalone. The ratio between the eggs and the ingredients was almost equal to that of regular rice. I thought that in normal chop sushi, rice would make up more than half of it. This combination of not too sweet eggs, a balanced vinegar rice, and delicious ingredients is simply amazing. It’s truly the best. Even if I wasn’t hungry, I could eat it all I wanted. I enjoyed it slowly until I finished it. Since I was sitting at the counter, I couldn’t refuse to try the handmade sushi made by the person who prepared this delicious chop sushi. I ordered a salmon sushi for 450 yen. The salmon was cut into thick pieces, and its flavor was strong. The shrimps were small, but the meat was big. It was a great combination. For 450 yen, the taste was definitely worth it. Thank you very much. Chop sushi is too cheap! This is the best chop sushi in Japan!! I definitely want to go there again.
