I was going to go drinking with a friend from my student days. If we wanted to have a quiet conversation over sake, this place would be perfect. So I went to Bōbōki-san!
We arrived at the restaurant a little earlier than scheduled, and they were very accommodating. We had booked a set meal, but we asked for an additional drink service, so we started with raw dishes for now.
Since it was the end of my work, the beer was really good!
I eat the first eight pieces of food bit by bit, while letting the sake flow in gradually.
The next time I had sashimi, I ordered a shochu highball. My friend seemed quite satisfied, and the conversation became lively.

The filling of warm vegetables also has a gentle taste. It truly heals the soul.
I ordered fried sardines fresh from this area. The inside of the fish is rare, and it pairs perfectly with lemon soursauce.
The last dish, rice cooked in a clay pot, was again delicious. I drank Japanese sake with the red broth, to recharge my energy before moving on to the next restaurant. This night was quite long, lol.
It's been a long time since I've been here, but this is still a restaurant I really love. Even though my current position requires me to work far away, it's a place I definitely want to visit when I'm in Kanto again (^^)

Since we decided to have a party in Kansai-cho, we looked for a place where we could drink in a calm atmosphere. We found this restaurant, so we booked a table and headed over to Kansai-cho!

However, for wine lovers who prefer to choose and order bottles of wine individually, it might be better not to choose the drink service.
After that, each course of the menu was extremely delicious! There were a variety of dishes served, and it was a great pleasure to enjoy them with appropriate alcoholic beverages. The final dish, cooked rice, was also quite delicious. I was deeply impressed by the quality of food at this restaurant.

And because they told me this, I decided to order extra raw jumbo shrimp at the end. As a fried dish, it had a crispy exterior and a rare texture inside, like sashimi. It was a unique dish! It was absolutely delicious.
The price for the course was 6,600 yen, and the buffet was 3,300 yen. So, the total cost per person was around 10,000 yen. I was absolutely satisfied with the meal. My impression is that it was quite affordable.
