Central District Kanda
It's been about three months since my last visit to this restaurant.
Today, I am with my companion.
On a Saturday in early January, I arrived around 11:05.
First guests: 3 groups of 7 people. Second guests: 4 groups of 11 people.
A quite popular restaurant.
Moving south along the Clear Street, it is located near the intersection with the Kaidō 2-chō.
This area has many parking spaces (¥300 per hour), making it convenient for those who drive.
Order via the tablet device on the table.
オレ:生姜焼き定食@1,000
Companion: Sashimi Set @1,300
Snacks, rice, and miso soup are served in a buffet style, allowing customers to choose their preferred items themselves.
Natto and eggs are served per person one piece.
After waiting for about 5 minutes, the ginger-yaki and sashimi were delivered.
◾️Japanese-Spiced Grilled Meal
・Japanese ginger roast
It's a type of dish where onions and peppers are stir-fried together.
Not very strong in flavor, but the taste is within my preference.
It comes with mayonnaise.
・セットメニュー
Selected dishes from莲根:金平糖、明太子、泡菜、纳豆,以及鸡蛋。
The first bowl of rice was eaten quickly with natto and eggs. The second bowl was consumed with ginger-yaki and other side dishes.
・Miso Soup
Miso soup with radish and fried egg.
Was it fresh today? It didn't seem like the food was overcooked; it was delicious.
◾️Sashimi order
・サバスリシン6種
Sashimi consists of 5 types
Salmon, cod, tuna, bonito, bonito fish
I shared ginger-yaki and sashimi with my companion.
The sashimi is truly fresh, as advertised with the mention of "direct delivery from Toyoza".
The salmon appears to have a somewhat fibrous texture, but it was actually delicious.
The rice is slightly overcooked.
If the lunch price is this, it's within acceptable limits.
Even during this time, I thought that if you eat at a restaurant in Tsukiji, you won’t be able to get something of the same quality for the same amount of money.
It's a "Fuban," quite satisfactory.
Thank you for the hospitality, I will come again.

Late lunch.
On a Friday in early October, around 1:15 PM, I visited the restaurant.
It was near lunchtime, so I was able to sit at a table that I liked. There was one group of three people before me, and two groups of one person behind me.
This time, we visited the restaurant by car. We drove south along the Kiyomizu Street and arrived near the end of the Kaidō 2-cho. This area has many parking spaces (¥300 per hour), making it convenient for those who drive.
The nearest station is Kanda-Kitakita Station on the Tokyo Metro Oedo Line. It's about a little over 5 minutes' walk from here.
On the tablet at the table, I ordered a set meal of sashimi (@1,300).
After waiting for about 10 minutes, the food was served.
Sashimi Set Meal
・6種類の刺身:太刀魚、鮪赤身、鯖炙り、鯛、鰤?
・アレンジメントセット
At that time, I chose cabbage kimchi, stewed lotus root and burdock, and otomono.
Live eggs and natto were also available, but I passed on them this time.
・オイスキエと大根の味噌汁(おかわり放題)
・Meal (Free portioning)
The sashimi is labeled as being directly delivered from Toyocho. Well, it was fresh.
Snacks and pickles are available without a limit. You can eat as much as you want.
This time, I didn't drink anything. But for someone who eats a lot of rice, this amount alone should be enough to get several drinks.
The rice was a bit mushy and had a dirty texture.
Well, it was nearing the end of the cooking process, so the food was kept warm. Also, since it was located below the pot, the flavors from the food combined with its own weight, creating a more complex taste.
This is really frustrating.
But, if you eat at a restaurant in Tsukiji, you won’t be able to get something of the same quality for the same amount of money.
If it's a place where you can drink from noon onwards, then it's okay to have alcohol with the food. (Bottled beer for side dishes. High-proof beer for sashimi. For the end, something like rice with明太子 and miso soup…)
Next time, I want to do that.
