Matsutake Bento (1760 yen)
It's been a long time since I've visited here. During the pandemic, I spent time doing takeout orders. This restaurant must have suffered significant damage due to large orders from customers like those who went to the shops for medical supplies. On weekdays at night, it's usually not crowded at all.
Inside the restaurant, I sat down alone and ordered a set meal. Autumn is the season for this dish—I decided to have the “Matsutake Dinner Box”. It was truly a luxurious combination of dishes, even by photographic standards. Although the matsutake was served simply as a plain dish and fried pieces, it still allowed me to fully appreciate the dynamism of the matsutake. I had to savor it carefully. There were also chestnuts and chestnut kintō served together. The rice was a five-course meal, so it was definitely worth eating.
Thank you for your hospitality. No matter when I visit, the side dishes are always well-prepared and offer a taste that exceeds expectations. I would like to visit again.

「穴子チラシ」(テイクアウト 1400円→1100円)
I obtained information through the official Facebook page of Yicheng and made a decision. I made a phone reservation in advance, and they had already prepared everything for me. Additionally, they recommended that I obtain a Yicheng membership card, so I decided to do so.
As a traditional tailor shop with years of experience, we have fully utilized the know-how related to takeout operations for this change in business practices. We offer a wide variety of products. For now, let's start by calling or visiting us in person.
Well, the kashi chirashi is appropriately sized, and it truly has the atmosphere of a station benten. I enjoyed a bit of luxury while enjoying this meal. I look forward to experiencing the flavors of late spring and early summer through this benten. The rice is warm, the kashi is well-marinated in the sauce, and there’s even a small dessert option… The service is excellent. Thank you very much, and enjoy your meal.

The "マグロ尽し定食" which was a limited offer last month, has been approved for continued service this month due to its popularity. We have rushed over to try it out.
Ungi dishes and sukiyaki dishes have also been served. However, I simply cannot overlook the "makuu". Makuu-don (small portion) and sashimi of salmon... While enjoying these two top-quality dishes, we entered the still-light 7 p.m. hour. I'm confident that the professional chef will provide us with fresh, well-crafted salmon that doesn't look discolored or damaged.
While enjoying some extra tea... thank you for the treat.

The area in front of the restaurant was often passed by me before, but I was a bit surprised to find that it was indeed here. The place had a strong image of being a humble eatery, and I usually avoided it due to its high standards, which were comparable to those of a teahouse or a ryotei.
I learned about the "special meal" through social media, and I visited last night (based on postings on February 15th). It's usually not crowded during lunchtime or weekends… On a weekday night, there was only me as the customer. When I received this "special meal", wow, it was truly luxurious! It was completely filled with rare ingredients. At just 1400 yen, it was quite a deal.
Other dishes are also available for 1300 yen, which is quite affordable. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.
