A favorite French restaurant that I visit frequently!
When dining in Megata, it is common for people to go to areas such as Higashi-dori Shopping Street and Ohashinami Shopping Street.
The "Shiba-ta" area near the Grand Front (commonly known as "Ume-Shiba") is also very lively!
In that area, there’s a French restaurant called “petitcomptoir” that opened in February 2017.
It's stylish, of course, and the dishes served are all delicious.
This is one of my favorite restaurants that I have visited many times.
The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Meida Station, accessible by various lines of the subway.
In the quiet road, suddenly a store with a stylish atmosphere appears.
This restaurant is called "petitcomptoir".
From the appearance, it seems like a restaurant with a high-quality atmosphere. However, you can enjoy delicious French cuisine in a comfortable and relaxed environment♪
The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit and has a mysterious atmosphere.
However, it's a space where you can enjoy meals in a casual atmosphere, rather than having a leisurely pace.
When it comes to French restaurants, you might have the impression that they are a bit high-class or exclusive.
This restaurant allows you to enter without having to stretch your arms too much.
This atmosphere is perfect for the second date or girl's gatherings.
There are 10 counter seats in this restaurant.
There are about 4 round tables that can accommodate 3 to 4 people each, totaling 26 seats.
The number of seats isn’t very large, so it might be difficult for larger groups to visit. It’s better to come in small groups.
The alcoholic beverages are mainly wines. In addition, there are also Mizuma beer and other types of beer available.
There are also wines that are a bit more expensive, and the selection is quite extensive!

First, let's toast with beer.

The first dish is "Marinated Squid, Cucurbits, and Tomatoes".
Early summer is the peak season for yellowtail. It has a rich fat content, making it extremely delicious.

・鸭肉与鹅肝的帕特安克鲁特(1500日元)
And immediately, I ordered the most popular dish at the restaurant: "Pate Ankruht."
The meat includes not only duck but also pork. The umami of the meat is concentrated, making it perfect for pairing with wine.
Also, I think it was a julep made with consomme. It was just the right amount of salt and tasted delicious~♪ I really hope you would order it!

Next is "Aruko no Konpyo".
This restaurant was also visited by me before, and I still have a pleasant memory of its delicious food.
A vivid green sauce—a rare "cucumber" sauce.
Just the sauce alone didn't give me a strong impression, but
Serve with trout, it creates a perfect harmony! The dish becomes exceptionally refreshing and well-balanced!
This wine is getting better with time. (`・ω・`)

“テット・ド・フロマージュ”は豚のゼリーです。800円という手頃な価格です。
It seems like a dish prepared in a stewed state!
This restaurant has a different cooking method, but it has a stronger meat texture compared to the "Pate Ancreut" mentioned earlier!
I would like to be served with red wine.
It was also a pleasure to have carrot lace served alongside the dish. ♪
・手打ちオレキエッティハモとズッキーニ(1500円)
Pasta with an ear-shaped shape.
The umami of the hamo is fully infused into the pasta, making it delicious!
Every dish here is perfectly seasoned, making it a pleasure to savor each bite carefully (*´∀`*)
・Roast lamb (1,480 yen)
Finally, the meal concluded with roasted lamb.
From the moment of cooking, a wonderful aroma of lamb wafted through the air, and I couldn’t wait to see how it would turn out!
I sat down at the counter. The highlight is that you can enjoy the cooking process and the aroma of the food.
Since it conveys a sense of live atmosphere, if you are two people, a counter seat would be highly recommended!
Hold it in your hand and take a big bite.
There is no characteristic bitterness of lamb at all, making it very easy to eat. ♪
Compared to beef, the meat here is extremely soft, and it can be chewed with teeth very easily.
Along with this, a glass of wine. It's a luxurious moment.
This time, we started with marinade, and enjoyed all the dishes that are truly special at this restaurant—like pate ancreout and pasta.
Each dish is perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The presentation of each serving also shows great care and attention, which was truly remarkable!
Since its opening in 2017, this is one of my favorite French restaurants to visit repeatedly – the "petitcomptoir" restaurant.

The name of the restaurant is “petitcomptoir”.
It seems to mean "small counter" in French.
From Meida Station, it's just a few minutes' walk towards Nakatsu.
In the area "Umekitta" where there are not many restaurants
The restaurant is located here.
The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit, with a bar-like atmosphere.
There are 10 counter seats and 5 small tables.
Each table can accommodate approximately four people.
The dishes are all perfect to pair with wine.
・桃とモッツァレラチーズのサラダ(価格を忘れてしまった)
This varies depending on the season.
When I visited, peaches were in season, so they were used abundantly in the menu.
This peach is extremely juicy.
Just one bite, and a flood of juice fills your mouth!
There, cheese, mozzarella, and tomatoes are combined to create a delicious dish!
This combination is my first time experiencing, and I'm surprised that it works so well!
I would like to try ordering various menus in a different season♪
・White Gold Pork Sausage (680 yen)
What a huge sausage—a true feast for the eyes!
I thought it would only cost 680 yen per piece, but it was actually quite satisfying to eat.
Just one of these items was enough to make my stomach feel full.
Of course, the taste is absolutely delicious!!
It’s quite thickly meaty and juicy! ♪
The skin of the sausage is crispy, and you can enjoy the texture as well!
This is a wine that continues to develop over time.

Fantastic, amazing!

There is a sauce made of beautiful green cucumbers on top.
Probably herbs, I guess.
A rich fragrance spreads throughout the mouth♪
The trout itself was fluffy and delicious!
All the staff at the restaurant were also exceptional in their service.
Sitting at a counter, you can enjoy chatting with others♪
It’s a bit of a hidden spot, as it’s located a little away from Umeda.
This is my favorite place that I always want to visit again and again.
