Used after work.
It's located about 5 minutes' walk from the east entrance of Ikebukuro Station.
I have visited Futarou-san at the west entrance several times, but this is my first time visiting Futarou-san here.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is similar to that of Futarou-san at the west entrance. What's truly impressive is the level of customer service and hospitality; it's just as meticulous as Futarou-san's.
I am impressed by how well they are educated.
This time, we ordered the usual double portion of hara-mi, over-sized milfy, one-sided baked mullifly, potato salad, and for dessert, cold Chinese-style cold noodles.
I ordered a large beer as my drink.
The beer was extremely cold, yet it remained delicious even after some time had passed.
The meat was cooked by the staff at the restaurant. They explained the recommended ways of eating the meat and the characteristics of the meat itself.
All of them were delicious, but I was particularly amazed by the impact of the overdone haramaki and the tenderness and savory taste of the meat.
There are those who say the sauce is delicious, but the texture was actually softer than expected. The harami meat revealed a rich umami flavor the more you chewed it.
This summer-only cold Chinese-style noodles are a dish that combines various delicious elements. I ate it all in just a short while.
I knew that it wouldn’t fail from the moment I started eating it, but the food was even better than I had imagined.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
