This is the second izakaya in our Yokuji Flower Street Japanese sake tour. The sake we tasted was "Sugi Yū Special Junmai Miji Uji Hyāoroshi Goshu (¥)", and the dish served was grilled chicken.

The namsuri with shiitake mushrooms served as an appetizer has a strong flavor, making it suitable for Japanese sake. Therefore, we choose to drink Suga-yu.
Sugi Yū (Yamanashi Prefecture) is a special pure rice wine made using natural fermentation. It has a sharp, pungent taste. As described, it pairs well with both vegetables and chicken, and leaves a refreshing feeling in the mouth. Ah! This sake really turns out to be quite enjoyable!
(Since the first restaurant only served clam, I thought this place would just serve Namul. But instead, for just one glass of sake, a surprisingly large amount of chicken was served. The garlic and pepper added a rich flavor, making the sake even more enjoyable. I couldn’t help but want to drink more sake…♪ I managed to suppress that desire and moved on to the next restaurant.)
(≧▽≦) ゴチソウサマ♪♪
It was on a Sunday afternoon, during an event visit. The seats were already fully occupied, and the previous customers were quickly moved away, so there was almost no waiting time.
The entrance is a bit difficult to find, which requires some courage. Even when opening the door, you enter a store with a stylish and calm atmosphere. Although it might seem like a bit of a gamble to enter here, looking at the menu, I think this is a reasonable place with affordable prices. It seems like a store where I can use services with confidence, even on regular days!
Ultimately, among the restaurants we visited today, it ranked third. It was a restaurant that offered a lot of service during the event.
