The creative home-cooked restaurant "Mei" that was located on the 5th floor of a building in the alley in front of BIZ Tower has moved.
Opened in January of 21 years ago.
The location is along the street where Super Yoshii Pond is located.
This is the former location of the Western-style restaurant “Bistro DA VARIE”.
The impression I had when I visited this restaurant before was that it serves home-style cuisine. The careful cooking and friendly service were truly impressive.
On the right side, takeout bento and side dishes are sold.
On the left side, there is an entrance for the eat-in area. However, under the emergency declaration, this area is closed off.
So, I decided to purchase the bento.
The bento is

Other side dishes include,
Vegetable jelly, coleslaw made with cabbage, vegetable curry, hamburger with mashed vegetables and soybean meat.
Chicken liver stew, char siu, silver shrimp stir-fry, etc. @200 to @400 each.
◎I ordered the seaweed shrimp bento @850 (including tax).
By the way, you can choose between white rice or brown rice for your rice. I asked for brown rice.
The plastic bag for putting the bento was taken separately @3.
The female manager is in charge of customer service, while her husband is working on finishing the tasks upstairs.
The service was gentle, and the impression was positive.
By the way, the side dishes for the "Seaweed Shake Dinner" and the "Mimi Special Daily Change Dinner" on this day were not much different.
The special menu included extra eggplant with its shells.
When you carry a seaweed-based shakemaki lunch box, it feels quite heavy.
If you make seaweed-shaped shakiben, @850 is a bit high, but once you open the bento, it becomes clear.
On the left side, brown rice, seaweed, and a well-sized silver salmon, along with thick-fried eggs.
On the right side, there are pickled namul with a lot of sweetness, koyote tofu, radish pickles, pumpkin, and stir-fried peppers.
Mini tomatoes, boiled cauliflower, seasonings and oranges.
This salmon sashimi has a distinct salmon flavor, with a well-balanced saltiness due to the sweet and salty taste. It's a great salmon that also contains plenty of fat.
The thick-baked eggs are warm, embodying a homey flavor that continues beyond their appearance.
The seaweed is not accompanied by soy sauce, and the seaweed is simply placed on brown rice.
On the right side, there are plenty of vegetables, which is really nice.
Namuraにはニラ、人参、しいたけが入っており、味付けはとてもまろやかです。
The soy tofu also has a mild flavor; it was the delicious soy tofu that I received from a previous restaurant.

Mini tomatoes and boiled cauliflower did not have any added flavor, but they still retained their texture.
The food was served.
On the right side, cabbages were laid out at the bottom.
I think it's a well-structured and satisfying lunch box.
Previously, when I visited the restaurant, I also received a 'Silver Crayfish Kaši Set'.
If the in-store dining service is restored, I will visit again. Since it has become a street-side restaurant, it will surely become a popular place.
