“もとぶ牛”というブランド牛を生産する「もとぶ牧場」が経営する焼肉店「焼肉もとぶ牧場」。本部を始め、県内にいくつかの店舗を展開しています。この日は久茂地交差点近くの那覇店を訪れました。
The introduction is quite long, but the interior of the restaurant is quite ordinary. The seating arrangement consists mainly of box seats and semi-private rooms. It's convenient that reservations can be made only for seats during lunchtime.
You can choose the meat, and with an additional 350 yen, you get soup, rice, and a salad. This is a set where the salad is doubled in size compared to the option without rice. The taste itself isn’t much different from a convenience store salad.
The accompanying kimchi is just a small portion, and it's not much different from the cheap versions bought at supermarkets. The soup also lacks any sense of body nourishment; it's more like an extra bonus for the lunch set.
I ordered "MotoBU Ushio Yakisama", but to my surprise, they informed me that only the upper part had been delivered from the supplier, with the lower part being out of stock. What? Didn’t you operate this restaurant on your own ranch? What does “out of stock” mean?
I had no choice but to order the "Motoobu Ranch Hamburger Steak". The price is 1,950 yen. The hamburger isn't bad in terms of taste, but it's not particularly delicious either. Its flavor is similar to that of a ready-made hamburger sold in supermarkets. For 1,950 yen, it's quite expensive. In my opinion, the real price should be around 850 yen.
This is the "Motoo Beef Steak Large Order" priced at 1,900 yen. It's a combination of moo-mo and karabin. While it’s not as good as hamburger, it’s still not bad. Moreover, the system for providing this kind of meat—where the meat is available but not available at the same time—is quite mysterious.
“モトブ牛”と宣伝されているにもかかわらず、どこか特別な雰囲気のない焼肉でした。もちろん、2千円程度のランチ焼肉としてはこれくらいかもしれませんが、それでも平凡な昼食でした。より安価な価格帯で東京で勝負している焼肉の名店というのは本当にすごいですね。逆に感心させられました。
