Today was a day for walking in Shonan.
What came here is this izakaya.
The location is on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building, just 0 minutes' walk from Exit E or Exit G of Shonan-dai Station.
Opened in October 2010, so it can be described as a mid-sized pub.
I believe that a restaurant can continue operating for over 10 years as proof of its roots in the local community (^^)
By the way, it opened on February 28, 2018, right at the west entrance of Shonan-Daiei Station.
ことぶき屋 STAR'sAnd, it opened in November 2018.ラーメン 銭函は
This is a sister restaurant of ours, isn't it?
This restaurant also usually operates only at night.
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurant takeout services have also been launched.
For more details and the latest information, please refer to the official social media accounts. The hours of operation are 12:00 on Mondays and Tuesdays, and 15:00 on Sundays.
First, we take a look at the lunch menu posted on the roadside signs.
This day,
・Japanese Canned Tuna and Dashi Set: 880 yen
・日替わり鮮魚の梅しそフライ定食 780円
・ホッケの干物定食 780円
・チキンモモジョウカキ定食 780円
・ふわとろ親子丼定食 780円
・Black Cider Anno Chicken Nanban Set Meal: 820 yen
・本格スパイスの黒キーマカレー定食 750円
・エビ天ぷらと更科そば 880円
Such a menu.
At the top, there’s something I really love to eat… Ah! While thinking about that,
They smile as they climb the stairs and enter the store on the second floor.
First, disinfect your fingers.
No prior guests are present. You can sit wherever you like; it seems to be a good place to sit.
We decided to sit at a two-person table on the left hand side as soon as we entered.
By the way, inside the restaurant, on the right-hand side when you enter, there are small Japanese-style seating tables arranged in rows.
On the left hand side, there are table seats; along the kitchen at the back, there is a long counter.
If you want to drink, the counter had the most enjoyable atmosphere.
As soon as I sat down, a lunch menu was offered to me. It was the same as the one posted on the street sign.
・Marinated tuna and natto set meal – 880 yen
It's a quick-order option. I had no other options left, so that was it (^^)
The extra-large rice is free, but just like always, no order is required.
The restaurant is managed by three people: two men in the kitchen and one woman responsible for the floor area.
It seems like they are operating with a minimum staff size.
However, everyone here has a professional attitude. The female staff members are also regular customers.
It seems that they are deeply rooted among local customers, allowing for friendly conversations between them. (^^)
The atmosphere in the restaurant is truly reminiscent of a traditional Japanese tavern. They serve delicious fish and seafood dishes.
The background music is a stylish kind of pop music. It has a slight jazz-like element to it.
It was served about 8 minutes later.
The contents of this day's set meal including marinated salmon and natto are as follows:
・Rice
Serve in bowls of the "Oka" type.
It was served in a fluffy manner, but since the bottom of the dish is deep, there actually is more food than it seems on the surface.
It was estimated to contain around 230 grams.
From there on, I ate it as pickled salmon natto-bakudon-don.
By the way, the extra portion is free of charge.
・Miso Soup
This is a miso soup made with wakame, mizuna, and green onions. It’s just ordinary but delicious.
・マリネ
This is a pickled radish dish. It's just plain delicious.
・サラダ
Cabbage, lettuce, watercress, and baby leaves salad.
Serve it with a sauce made from Cizardo dressing. This too is extremely delicious.
・Small bowls
After waiting for a while after the service, it seemed they forgot about it, so it was added again.
This dish features steamed chicken served with sesame sauce. Green vegetables are arranged on top.
However, even with such a large number of side dishes available,
It's a bit surprising that there were still additions to be made (^^;
・Moon-viewing Todoro
It consists of yolk added to tororo, accompanied by arakuji.
This is not consumed alone; it was mixed with pickled salmon and natto.
Well, it seems that this service is provided with that in mind.
・Marinated Salmon Edamame
The ingredients include salmon, tuna, octopus, and natto.
There, it is served with red radishes, shellfish dishes, dill leaves, and wasaheba. Sprinkled with white sesame seeds and green onions.
As mentioned earlier, I poured soy sauce over the Tsukimi Turoro and drizzled it over here.
I received it while stirring together. From the middle on, it was turned into a marinated tuna natto baka-jion.
Anyway, I really love this kind of fancy restaurant (^^)
Among the dishes that make natto delicious, this is considered to be among the top-ranked ones.
I was born in Osaka but raised in Ehime, so I don't belong to the natto culture circle.
The people around me who consumed natto were almost non-existent.
However, when I arrived in Tokyo, I found myself in a region known for its natto culture.
When I first moved to Tokyo, regular meals often included a packet of natto.
I felt that it would be a loss if I couldn't eat natto, so I immediately took steps to overcome this issue.
I got used to it quite quickly, didn’t you? (^^)
In Kanto region, whether or not natto can be consumed has a significant impact.
This dish costs 880 yen. Well, I'm quite satisfied, right? (^^)/
Normally, if it costs 880 yen,
・Rice
・Miso Soup
・マリネ
・サラダ
・Marinated Tuna Natto
Isn't it a place where you can only do so much?
That was also a wonderful amount of ingredients used for pickled salmon and natto.
This set meal alone was a truly impressive lunch course, so to speak.
It would have been better if those people had utilized such services to contribute to the store's sales, I regret that.
I was so happy that I asked the female staff member at the time of checkout
“It was delicious (^^)” when I said that,
“テイクアウトもよろしくお願いします!”とチラシをくれました。
I hope you will work hard!
Thank you for your hospitality! (Points: 3.05 as of January 2021)
