The operating entity, "Betsu Group," was founded in 2018 by Chef Hirokatsu Takezawa. Currently, the group operates establishments such as "Yakisoba Betsu Nanbansou Honmachi," "Yakisoba Betsu Hosshinji-den," and "Yakisoba Betsu Yun." Takezawa is from Miyazaki Prefecture. After his training in a French bistro, he decided to start his own business. The restaurant offers a high-quality atmosphere with a full counter layout, where customers can enjoy exquisite beef steaks.
The restaurant is located within a 5-minute walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Metro Odori Street Line. The opening hours are as follows: lunch from 11:00 to 15:00, and dinner from 17:00 to 23:00. It has variable opening hours.

On this day, I visited the restaurant for lunch. During lunchtime, they served a collaboration burger with "Gui’s Burger". The aged beef burger was highly recommended. The paté used was made from Wan-ye-keun beef, available in sizes of 100g to 200g. The steak was made using crossbred beef, which would otherwise seem too heavy if only using Japanese beef. It effectively balances the flavors. This place seems to be very popular among group travelers. I really like this restaurant.

The operating company is Plan Do Action Co., Ltd., with Mr. Hirokatsu Takezawa as the representative. Mr. Takezawa was born in Miyazaki Prefecture, and his family ran a livestock industry. From a young age, he had close relationships with cows and pigs. His culinary career began at a French restaurant in an O大阪 hotel. Later, he shifted to the meat industry and opened “Yakitori Kitan” in 2019. In 2022, he opened a new restaurant in Hosshinji Yokodeng, with the second floor named “Yakitori Kitan Hosshinji” and the first floor named “Kitan Yun”. This restaurant was established again in June 2024.
The nearest station is Namba Station on the Osaka Metro lines. The restaurant is located about 3 minutes' walk from Exit 14. Just like Kitenn Yen, it is situated in the Fushanji Yokozotei district. The atmosphere inside the store is already pleasant upon entering. The store is arranged in a high-quality Japanese-style space with all seats facing the counter. It has an atmosphere reminiscent of a Japanese restaurant located abroad. The business hours are from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 23:00. The closing days are不定休。 Reservations can be made by phone or through the online reservation service on Yumelog. Payment methods include cash and credit cards.
Mr. Takezawa recommended this restaurant for its aged beef steaks made from crossbred cattle. I received both fillet and steak dishes. Compared to Japanese beef, these crossbred steaks have less marbling and more meaty texture. Moreover, they are softer than US-beef, while still retaining the characteristic marbling of Japanese beef. The thick-cut steaks from the crossbred breed are much easier to eat than those from Japanese beef, and they also have a stronger flavor. I also ordered a hamburger. This hamburger was paired with Gui’s Burger from Lakawa, Hyogo Prefecture. The balance between the patty and buns was excellent, and the hamburger was delicious. It was a truly wonderful place that embodied Mr. Takezawa’s vision and taste.
