Tonight, there's a thrilling Rugby World Cup quarter-final match between Japan and South Africa. It's a day full of excitement and tension from noon onwards.
Lunchtime, we enjoyed an absolutely satisfactory Italian meal. After that, our wife and I entered this sports bar in good spirits.
However, after 5 o’clock, the restaurant was almost empty. Do you see no rugby fans in Nagoya?
ま〜焦らないで、焦らないで。( ^ω^ )
However, by 7 o’clock, the standing room was almost full. It’s really good that I made reservations in advance. The young people seem to be willing to stand all night, just like during their usual all-stadium concerts. But for the older people, it’s definitely impossible to endure such conditions. (^_^;)
Today, it’s all 4000 yen per item. Includes 10 tickets for alcohol and appetizers. I’m already full after drinking the draft beer.
7:15 p.m. Now, let's start the match.
In a blink of an eye, South Africa made a try.
Ah-ah... ( ; ; ).
But from now on, the entire restaurant will work together to create a cheer that echoes as a Japanese representative. The young women next door are quite friendly, and they get along well with my wife. We really enjoy our time together. (*^_^*)
The restaurant is packed with people, but since it’s a reserved table, I can sit comfortably and enjoy the event. Sorry to say, the tables reserved for customers are also open to everyone. Please use them together, everyone! (*^_^*)
Then, the conversation turned even more friendly, with discussions about rugby intensifying. Everyone here is a casual fan of rugby who doesn’t really understand the rules.
“現在のファウルはどうなっているのか?”“トライはいくつか?”という質問が山積みです。
However, for those who are dedicated to promoting rugby, this is a happy cry. Seeing an older man being overwhelmed by young women, the woman sitting next to him gave a wry smile (^_^;).
Ultimately, we lost strength against South Africa. However, there is only respect and admiration for the outstanding performance of the Japanese team. I am glad that rugby will continue to be recognized as a sport in the future. m(_ _)m
The pride of Japan, the Rugby Japan National Team.
Thank you very much for your hard work.
Thank you for your hospitality.
