It takes about 30 minutes to walk from the west entrance of Oban Station. Usually, people don’t walk there directly.

As the first customer, I choose to sit at a 2-person table that suits my preference.
Inside the restaurant, immediately to the right, there is a drop-down counter with eight seats.

It is said that this restaurant uses koshihikari from contracted farmers in Danbo Shinsan.
The cooking level was just right. It was a quite delicious meal of rice.

Simply wakame miso soup.
The broth is made from Kombu from Hidaka and katsuobushi from Yuzuru, Shizuoka Prefecture.

It seems like a combination of taraya and cucumbers or radishes pickled together. Pickled foods are not usually too salty.
In particular, the radish had excellent texture and was delicious.
・Small plates 1
Steamed tofu, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin stew. The sauce had a light and refreshing flavor.
・Small plates 2
Stew of yakiniku tofu, chikuwa, and shiitake mushrooms. The broth was abundant and had a strong flavor.
However, since the small bowls contained the same type of stew, it was a pity that the taste tendencies were similar.
Perhaps either of the small dishes should have been prepared as something like pickled vegetables, salads, or stewed dishes.
・Ako Udang Nishikyō Miso Nakae-yaki
This dish is served with a mixed salad of daifu and shimeji.
Although I felt a bit nervous, Saito soy sauce pickles are my favorite dishes, so...
