Due to work-related circumstances, we found a suitable time to enjoy a special meal. We booked a place at Tokyo Yakiniku Ichiro and the Koredomichiyama Terrace branch.
Since all three of us are members who eat and drink a lot, we chose a course meal with unlimited drinks.
As a result, it was a time that truly suited a special night. Even when looking at the bill, I found it to be satisfactory.
As soon as I entered the restaurant, the first thing that struck me was that it had a atmosphere more similar to a hotel lounge than a barbecue restaurant.
The ceiling is high, with glass walls that create a sense of openness. The tables and lighting fixtures are also of a marble-like style, making the overall atmosphere elegant.
The spacing between the seats is generous, so the conversations of neighboring tables don’t disturb others. This allows me to talk about work and discuss personal matters in a calm environment.
I felt that the air conditioning system, which ensures that smoke and oil odors do not stick to clothes, is a thoughtful consideration for this price range.
We chose sparkling wine for the toast.
Compared to the unlimited drinks offered, the foam condition wasn’t too bad either. It’s sufficient as a first drink to help change one’s mood.
On the other hand, it was a pleasure to have a wider selection of cocktails and Japanese sake.
If we focus on beer, highballs, and wine as the main menu items, there won’t be any problems. However, if we are people who really enjoy alcohol, we tend to want to try everything. So, it might be a bit lacking in variety.
Appetizers include kimchi platter and namul.
Particularly impressive was the unique variety of plum kimchi. The balance between sourness and spiciness is excellent. It effectively complements fatty meats, playing a crucial role in bringing out their full flavor.
This cherry salad also comes in just the right amount, and the dressing isn’t too strong, so it doesn’t interfere with the meat.
In this area, the three of them gradually started to engage in more casual conversations.
The grilled dishes started with the classic ones.
This package with green onions is designed in such a way that the green onions are less likely to spill. When you take a bite, the fresh aroma of the green onions and the elasticity of the tofu perfectly complement each other.
While it doesn’t have a strong impact that surprises the diner, it was extremely excellent as the first dish served. It seemed to set the direction for the entire meal.
Next on the menu was a dish called "サーロインすき". It involved lightly grilling thin slices of sirloin and then mixing them with egg yolks.
I really liked this restaurant; the voices of all three people were quite harmonious.
Although there is a lot of fat, the texture is light, and the egg yolk brings together everything in a cohesive whole.
This is a "dangerous" piece that makes you want to eat rice.
On the one hand, I think it would be better if there were a little more servings. On the other hand, I also feel that it's precisely because of this amount that we can proceed to the end without getting bored.
Even dishes made with red meat or grilled meat can be made tender if they are not overcooked. As you chew them, the umami flavor becomes more pronounced.
一方で、三人のうち一人は、後半のやや脂っぽさに疲労を感じていました。
This is a composition that is truly appealing to those who enjoy frosted meat. However, if there are courses with mainly red meat, or if there is an option to add another dish of wild game in the middle of the meal, it becomes more suitable for a wide range of people.
Finally, I chose a katsu-kaki rice for beef teriyaki. It was a dish that truly exceeded my expectations in a positive way.
The aroma is not too strong, and the texture of the beef teriyaki is well preserved. The flavor of garlic instantly stimulates our appetite.
This was highly well-received among the male guests. However, the portion size is quite substantial, so it would be appropriate to share this dish with those who have already had a good meal throughout the entire course.
The dessert, Rare Cheesecake Mousse with Mango, also has a moderate sweetness and a tangy flavor. It helps to cleanse the palate after eating dishes that are rich in fat.
Regarding the service, overall it was polite and pleasant.
In important areas such as confirming allergies or determining the appropriate degree of cooking for meat, detailed explanations are provided.
However, during the periods when the restaurant was busier, there were several instances where there was a slight delay before the drink order was delivered.
Even during the process of changing the wiring, if someone calls while the meat is being cooked, it feels even more comfortable when they wait for another breath.
It's not something that's really a dissatisfaction, but as a restaurant in this price range, I'm glad that there's an extra level of detail in every aspect.
The bill was around ten thousand yen per person.
Considering the location, the design of the space, the quality of the meat including Matsushita beef, and the fact that it’s a set meal with unlimited drinks, I don’t feel it’s overpriced at all. On the contrary, I think it’s quite well-balanced in terms of its offerings.
Rather than entering a restaurant as a casual daily routine, it’s a place chosen for important occasions like work milestones, birthdays, or small celebrations.
Overall, it was a place suitable for adults who want to enjoy meat and wine in a calm atmosphere.
It seems to be aiming not just for the atmosphere, but also for the taste, with a focus on the middle ground between both.
Although there are some issues with service, dishes like sirloin cutlets and wrapped green onions with salt, as well as many other dishes I really want to try, keep coming to mind.
次に、ランチの定食や、単品料理中心のメニューも試してみたいと思いながら、その店を後にしました。
