After Ruojiu-san at Ginza Sushi, another sashimi restaurant that booked reservations on the same day
I visited "Ginza Tamaki" for the first time.
Since it was after the sushi course, I ordered individual dishes this time.
I thought the alcohol was easy to drink, so I ordered a bottle of Kaga red wine with a medium body from Ikeda Winery in Kakeyoshi, Yamanashi Prefecture. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well with the kombu dish we ordered. Neither of us found it tasty, so we ended up leaving it uneaten.
From this experience, I have realized that when ordering red wine for the first time, one should be very cautious when purchasing it in a bottle.
It was another day when I once again realized that for kushiyaki, Japanese sake is simply the best match.
The choice of alcohol was a mistake, but the kushikatsu itself was quite delicious. It's definitely not the fault of the restaurant.
