2023-09-28: Visited this restaurant again at night to enjoy a business lunch. After the dinner, I was also very satisfied with the lunch.
Although located in the young city of Shibuya Center Street, once you step into the store, you are greeted by a stylish, quiet, and tranquil atmosphere.
Opened in March 2022, the Shibuya Iron Plate Yaki Uji is now renamed. It reopened under its new name on September 16, 2023.
What's interesting is that there are three restaurants occupying the entire floor, all of which belong to the same chain. Each restaurant specializes in authentic sushi, teppanyaki, and other dishes. Each restaurant shares a back kitchen and a restroom with other establishments. During busy times, they even exchange private rooms. Additionally, some menu items include teppanyaki courses combined with sushi, or other dishes from other restaurants.
These three restaurants include Tetsuban Yaki Rin, as well as Tenjirou Fujimoto (formerly: Tenjirou Yokota Shibuya) and Sushi Sublim Tokyo (formerly: Sushi Shimizu).
Located on the 4th floor of a building near MEGA Don Kito in Shibuya Udagawa-cho Center Street.
The interior features black-colored ceilings and walls, along with beige-colored floors and counter surfaces. The latter are adorned with marble-style panels, giving the space a sophisticated and high-end impression.
This restaurant offers a wide variety of Japanese sake, as well as 3-5 types of shochu and wine, including red, white, and bubble varieties. Non-alcoholic options include Dry Zero, along with other popular and unique products like the British-made Ginger Firbeer, which is a ginger-flavored dry beer.
Iron plate grilled dishes are typically served in courses. The dinner menu features four popular options, priced at 12,000 yen, 15,000 yen, 17,500 yen, and 19,800 yen. There are also three options for lunch, priced at 5,000 yen, 7,000 yen, and 10,000 yen. These prices are suitable for young customers, making it a popular choice in Shibuya.
Today's lunch was a private meal between me and an important client. Therefore, instead of a menu, I chose a basic course that costs 15,000 yen (including taxes).

The fresh fish was served in thick blocks of sawa, and half-cooked eel. Both were carefully cooked to perfection, with a buttery aroma that was truly outstanding. As raw ingredients, they were grilled until rare. The ikura added to the eel as a topping, along with caviar on top of the sawa, created a beautiful presentation.

Zuwai Crab Stuffed Tea Bowl Stew
A steaming bowl of tea with plenty of tempura crab meat, served with a hot filling. It’s extremely hot, but the taste is smooth and delicious.

岩手産A5サーロイン肉、ナス、ズッキーニ、サツマイモ。肉はレアとミディアムレアをお願いしました。鉄板で焼いた後、鉄板の上の網に乗せてじっくり熱を通す方法で焼きます。表面はカリッとしており、内側は赤身が残る、とても良い焼き上がりです。

In a quiet environment, we enjoyed a leisurely conversation while savoring delicious teppan-yaki. It was a lunch with extremely high satisfaction.
This restaurant is a great place located near Shibuya Station, suitable for various purposes. It is highly recommended.

Kagoshima Prefecture-produced beef sirloin, 80 grams. Mushrooms, okra, and sweet potatoes are used in the preparation. The meat has a moderate degree of marbling, making it perfect for medium-rare cooking. Simply outstanding!

Chef’s Special Garlic Rice (with dill added)
Garlic Rice is a delicately prepared dish where garlic is fried, then rice, green onions, and ginger (what a strange name for ginger—just like the “garlic” in sushi!) are added and further fried. The mixture is then seasoned with soy sauce, and finally, shrimp is used as an topping. This is quite unique. And it tastes great.

A delicious miso soup that benefits from the broth of a migratory crab.

The dessert consisted of raspberries, melon, blueberries, and blackberries. It served as a refreshing conclusion to the meal.
Encountered a great restaurant in Shibuya that can be used for various purposes, and I'm very satisfied.
