This time, I was struggling to decide where to have lunch. Since I'm here in Kobe, I decided to go to the restaurant I usually visit. But then I came across this place! It seems like I don't really want to spend a lot on this restaurant. The casual menu, which costs 4,000 yen at night, is available for only 2,000 yen during the day! Isn't that amazing? And it comes with unlimited drinks too! So, I had no choice but to go there.
Usually, I frequent the area under the elevated structure, where there are many men working there. But I thought I would never visit this EKIZO, the fashionable area. Kōbe Biāhause is a store located in Block B of EKIZO. The storefront entrance immediately attracts attention with its stylish and large menu signage.
At the entrance, a staff member guided me to the second floor. Upon climbing the yellow staircase, I was presented with a spacious and stylish space. I was seated near the window. Immediately, the drink-free buffet service began. First, I ordered a beer. Soon after, a herb garden salad and beer were served. The glass was labeled with the cute logo of Kōbe Biāhusen. The salad was quite substantial. With a diet based on vegetables, the calories from yesterday's excessive eating were completely burned.
After that, a set of 5 appetizers was served: ham celery, chollizo, oil salad, spicy pothasara, and zucchini anchoive marinade. Wow, that’s quite impressive. Even at 2000 yen for just these appetizers, it’s not bad at all. It’s great to have beer while enjoying appetizers. For the second and third drinks, I ordered Red Eye. Next, the main dish, Housemix Fried Chicken, arrived. Ugh, fried foods! Bird fried chicken, potatoes, fish, onions rings… Oh my goodness! For someone like me who has been diagnosed with hyperlipidemia, beer seems like a must. I drank half-and-half beers. Fried foods and beer… forever, I say again. After eating and drinking all this, we spent 2000 yen! In times when prices are so high, it’s hard to believe. After that, I ordered several cocktails. The meal ended with garlic toast as the final dish. I drank a total of 6 drinks.
