We visited on a weekday at noon. The location is located after leaving Yokohama Station's Minami-Nishi Gate, heading straight towards the busway while looking to the right at Takashima-mae. Continue straight through the large intersection, then cross the on-street parking lot, and find the building on the left, at the 1st floor underground.
I will descend using the inner staircase on the front side, or by the elevator inside the building.
After more than one year, it’s a long time since I last visited this restaurant. Looking at the menu displayed at the store, it seems that there have been no price increases.
We will enter the restaurant. Inside, there are tables for two or four people. The occupancy is about 70%, but it’s difficult to see the situation in the back part of the restaurant.
I sit at the two-person table near the entrance.
The order was a stir-fried meal consisting of shrimp and eggs, priced at 930 yen. It's what is referred to as "shrimp and egg stir-fry."
The staff consists of two people, but the female staff members who are mainly responsible for operations are cheerful and energetic. They also show concern for customers. It seems that they haven’t changed compared to last time I visited.
It takes about 8 minutes to get served.
Ah, first of all, the eggs have a stunning luster. Although they are illuminated by the spotlight, it's still evident how exquisite the finished product is.
Let's take it immediately.
First, the soup. Oh? The seasoning is good, but the flavor of the water seems a bit off. (This is the only thing that's disappointing.) The saltiness and the ingredients are fine.
The rice is not necessarily hard-cooked to the liking of some people, but due to the high quality of the rice and the fact that it's freshly cooked, it's incredibly delicious. About 200 grams.
The main dish. A generous portion of soft-shelled shrimp (I'm not sure if they are "Shi-Ebi"), about 6 pieces. The eggs are fluffy. There's also a hint of bonito in the flavor. The quality of the eggs is perfect—neither too good nor too bad. The saltiness is also excellent. It shows the incredible skill of the chef.
This cucumber pickled dish is probably salted dashi-style pickling. It's a bit of a special technique, but still good.
The dessert is of a tea-like flavor.
Although we had previously considered this restaurant to be above average, speaking specifically of the cuisine served today, it can be said to be one of the top Chinese restaurants in the Yokohama Station area.
Thank you for your hospitality.

We visited this restaurant on a weekday at noon. The location is located on Yokohama West Gate Rotary, heading towards Okano-cho. Look for Takashima Store on your left, then cross the first intersection and turn right at the second building. It's on the 1st basement floor of that building. There are exterior stairs in front of the building; enter from the right side inside the building.
Previously, there was a restaurant located here and in Hokkaido. However, that restaurant closed down last summer. It was a place where one could enjoy a solid meal, so it's a pity.
Today, the weather is not good, so I decided to visit a restaurant within this building.
Upon entering the restaurant, a cheerful voice invites you to take a seat in an empty area. As was the case last time, the seating is not fully occupied, which gives customers a high degree of freedom when choosing their seats. This is indeed a blessing for the customers.
We sit at a 4-person table and look at the menu on the table. I'm not sure if it's a lunch-only menu, but the main menu seems to be available elsewhere.
The order is a set meal of kikarage and fried pork with eggs for 930 yen. It includes rice, soup, pickles, and dessert. This is my first time ordering a set meal here.
It was served in about 10 minutes. The main dish was steaming over heat, emitting a sweet aroma.
First, let's talk about the soup. It's a soup with wakame in it, along with a saltiness that's just perfect. I took a bite of the rice. It was soft... But the quality of the rice is really excellent. This is something rare in a Chinese restaurant like this.
Finally, the main course arrives. The sweet aroma comes from the onions and the oyster sauce. It has a creamy texture to it. Isn’t this quite unusual? The pork is cut into thick slices. There isn’t much quantity, but its presence is noticeable. It was delicious.
The dessert was a soft almond tofu. This was also good.
It's a long time since I've visited here, but I was indeed able to enjoy authentic cuisine. Moreover, the staff at the restaurant are all self-service, yet they never lose their smiles and pay full attention to customers. They even engage with regular customers by addressing them personally. It's truly remarkable.
The price point is a bit high, but it’s definitely worth visiting.

At the west entrance of Yokohama Station, a little further down the street from the Takashima Yokohama store and JTB, there is a building where N Securities has its offices. On the first floor, there are two restaurants serving Hokkaido cuisine. The names of these restaurants have changed three times: Taeriumou → Yosan → 135 Sakagaya. However, it seems that the management hasn’t changed. I used these restaurants for lunch several times, and the menu items haven’t changed at all. Also, the chopsticks on the tables still bear the name “Yosan”.
We visited for lunch after 12 o'clock on a weekday.
The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit and feels luxurious. Previously, smoking was allowed during lunchtime, but it seems that smoking has been banned today. That's a blessing.
Here, we have often ordered sets consisting of noodles and half-chahan in the past. So, today, I am also considering ordering such a set again.
Ebi Soba Set: 880 yen (including taxes).
This dish comes with half a Chinese fried rice and a dessert.
The meal was served within about 10 minutes after being prepared on the dining table.
I remember that the previous half-mixed rice was a prepared bowl of mixed rice, but this time it was actually hot and fresh half-mixed rice. The almond tofu as dessert also seemed to be homemade, which is quite nice.
Well, Ebissoba. A soup with a salty flavor. When you take a bite, it feels refreshing, but at the same time, it has a rich taste. The hot filling is well-integrated with the soup, creating a great combination. This filling has a slightly oily texture and a strong salt taste. Since the soup itself is refreshing, the combination of the filling and the soup results in an excellent taste.
The ingredients include cabbage, carrots, bamboo shoots, wisteria leaves, and wood ear mushrooms—all classic choices. A lot of vegetables, which is a pleasant sight.
And there are six shrimps. A knife is placed on their backs, and the preparation is quite thorough.
The noodles are thin and soft. They have a somewhat mushy texture. This suits this Ebi Soba very well.
I found this to be a quite authentic kind of Ebissoba.
One half of the char siu.
The ingredients include char siu, eggs, and carrots. The quantity is sufficient, but the seasoning is quite simple. I sprinkled chili on it. However, it still has the same bland taste. There seems to be something missing.
Since the ebi soba looked excellent, I felt a gap between it and the cha-han.
Perhaps, with the option of half-chahan, it would be better to have just noodles as a single item. I thought that for this Ebi Soba, it's worth offering this price even as a single item.
The almond tofu was, as its appearance suggested, a truly delicious product.
Also, I would like to visit again if given the opportunity.
