After finishing my work in Shinjuku, I noticed that Yoshiji Bar also has a branch in Shinjuku. So, I decided to visit it quickly.
October 25th. I visited around 7 PM on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was about 20% full.

The oshibushi is "Spring Vegetable Salad", served in small bowls.
This place stands out for its smooth texture in the throat, which is very impressive. It also leaves a lingering aftertaste of sourness, which is quite pleasant.
The crunchy texture of radishes and other ingredients added an enjoyable touch to the meal. It was an ideal choice for getting started with a party, helping to soothe the stomach quickly. The dish was truly delicious!
・ซีซาร์สลัด
The salad was prepared with lettuce, watercress, tomatoes, bacon, croutons, and hot eggs. It was served topped with a generous amount of Caesar dressing and grated cheese.
This is a type of dish where you can directly experience the fresh, crisp texture of lettuce and watercress. The dressing is also very strong, making it easy to eat quickly.
The savory flavor of bacon and the crisp texture of crostini add a pleasant touch, making this dish extremely delicious. It also provides a generous amount of vegetable components, making it a truly nutritious choice!

The service included two portions of shrimp cutlets cut into triangles, along with lettuce and sauce.
Ebi Katsu is a masterpiece that offers a contrast in texture—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sweet taste of the shrimp makes it irresistible, leaving a lingering desire to continue eating.
In terms of size, it was also satisfying to eat. Moreover, it complemented the drinks that are known for being refreshing, making these fried dishes an absolute delight!
・Birch County-produced Buri Shishi
The sashimi of scallops was served in five portions, accompanied by wasahe.
This scallop used in this restaurant is fresh from Toyoto. It has a stunning texture and luster that can be immediately appreciated.
The scallop has a pleasant elasticity that is impressive. Along with its crispy texture, it delivers a powerful flavor that hits you right away—this is simply outstanding.
Eating it with wakabira adds a strong spiciness, making it an ideal taste for both as an appetizer and as a meal.
One by one, enjoying each dish while savoring the sake, it was a truly delightful experience!

Ordered as a meal to end a drinking party
The Tensu-don was composed of ingredients such as 3 shrimp, 3 shishitou, 3 slices of shiitake mushrooms, and 2 pieces of whitefish.
This Takoyaki is filled with rice on the inside, making it extremely satisfying to eat.
The shrimp was soft and plump, and the size was exactly what we expected. The light, crunchy sound that occurred the moment it was bitten was absolutely delightful, along with its burstingly sweet taste.
Shishitou is a type of dish with a strong bitter taste, which creates a good contrast when compared to the sweet flavor of the eggplant.
Shiitake mushrooms have a unique texture that is crunchy and smooth. The umami flavor derived from mushrooms, which becomes more intense the more you chew, is simply irresistible.
White fish has a relatively mild taste, making it an excellent match with rich soy sauce.
Throughout the entire meal, despite the order being placed, the dining experience was characterized by a decisive and aggressive approach to eating. It turned out to be an extremely delicious meal!

The restaurant is located about 3 to 4 minutes' walk from the east exit of JR Shinjuku Station.
Straight ahead towards the east entrance, cross a large intersection. After entering the Kabukicho Main Street, proceed a little further. On the right-hand side, you will see a storefront.
The interior of the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere reminiscent of a seafood bar, making it an ideal place for casual gatherings among friends. It’s a space that is easy to use on a daily basis.
The layout consists of 14 four-person tables and 2 six-person tables, totaling 68 seats.
The customer base included friends, colleagues, women's groups, couples, and foreigners. During our visits, the group composed of office workers returning from work was the most popular segment.
It was delicious, thank you for the hospitality (*´◒*`).
