Another visit to the "Beiham Shanghai Food Garden". Once again, I have ordered a menu item that I haven't tried yet. I am here to try it.
This day, around 12:30, I visited the restaurant alone. Just like the other solo visitors, I was guided to the round table at the back of the restaurant. This time, it was the most traditional daily menu.
This day’s rotating set meal (¥950) consisted of a five-course stir-fried dish. The main dish, a stir-fried five-course meal, had a good balance between vegetables and meat. The taste was quite delicious. I finished it quickly while using the egg soup to soothe my mouth. It’s nice that the price is less than 1,000 yen for just this one dish. Thank you very much.

Another visit to the "Beiham Shanghai Food Garden". Once again, I have ordered a menu item that I haven't eaten yet. I am here to try it.
This time, I tried ordering a set meal of dim sum (¥1,180). This set meal includes 4 dim sum items, a small bowl, soup, and pickles. Additionally, there is a choice of rice dishes: either a daily-changing ramen, chicken porridge, seafood porridge, or yaki-ni. It's a very convenient option. On this day, I chose yaki-ni.
First, items other than dim sum were served. This rice dish is not too greasy and easy to eat, so I personally like it very much. The portion is quite sufficient, making it a satisfactory choice. A little later, dim sum was served. Since there was a delay in the serving time, I ate a significant amount of the rice dish. However, the juicy dim sum made for a satisfying lunch.
Depending on the time of day, it may take a little longer. However, as for the content of the set meal, we were able to enjoy a satisfactory lunch. Thank you very much. Personally, I rate this meal at 3.6 points.

Recently, I visited "Beihang Shanghai Food Court" because it's easy to get in and I've been there several times. I went back at around 12:30 to try some menu items I hadn't tried yet.
On this day, I chose the five-course ankake yakin-yaki set (¥1,000). It includes fried chicken, spring rolls, small dishes, and soup. As can be seen from the photo, there is plenty of ingredients, and the rice is barely covered. The menu features various large vegetables, meat, eel, shrimp, and other seafood. The ankake itself had a flavor that was reminiscent of seafood. The yakin-yaki itself was moist and delicious. In terms of the balance between rice, meat, and vegetables, it was quite satisfactory.
Thank you very much for your hospitality. I would like to rate this five-course ankake yaki rice set with a personal score of 3.6.

Last time, I had egg lettuce grilled rice for lunch, so this time I decided to try something different and visited "Beihang Shanghai Food Court" again. I went there around 12:30, but I was alone. So, I simply entered the restaurant.
There are many types of menus, which makes me confused. On this day, the daily special for ramen was a meat and vegetable stir-fry ramen. I chose the daily special set (¥1,000) and ordered steamed rice as an additional item. In addition to steamed rice, I also had the option to choose Tianjin rice or fried rice.
After a while, the order items are served in a dressed bowl. Now, let's start eating.
This meat and vegetable stir-fry ramen is truly reminiscent of home-style stir-fries in a good way. The richness is minimal, making it surprisingly refreshing to eat. Of course, compared to traditional ramen shops, this might be considered ordinary, but that "ordinary" quality might actually be a positive aspect. The steamed rice is also not too oily, and it was delicious.
However, the carbohydrate set definitely fills my stomach too much. Next time, perhaps I should try a more balanced daily menu with better balance in the dishes. Thank you very much for the delicious meal.

This day's lunch was taken towards Kitahama. We visited the Chinese restaurant "Kitahama Shanghai Food Garden". It is located on the first basement floor of a building near the Osaka Stock Exchange. The interior of the restaurant is calm and comfortable, with a decent number of seats available. We arrived just before 12 o'clock, and there were still some empty seats available.
I sit down and check the menu. There are quite a few options, so I'm a bit confused. However, a senior colleague who was with me recommended this dish, saying it's even more delicious than others. So, I choose the Eel Leaf Steamed Rice Set (¥1,080).
Just after placing the order, the dish was served when quite a number of customers had arrived.
This rice dish has a moist and pleasant texture. It doesn’t have much oily flavor, and its sauce is neither too strong nor too mild. The crispy shrimp and soft lettuce serve as nice accents, making it very delicious. The fried chicken and soup also have a mild taste, which is really appreciated by middle-aged men! Even though the portion is small, there’s also a salad included, so the balance is great.
Thank you for the delicious meal. I was able to use PayPay for payment. After finishing my food and stepping out of the restaurant, I saw a long queue... The portion was quite large, making me feel a bit sleepy in the afternoon (laugh). This is a restaurant I would like to try other lunches at as well.
