On the iron plate, a blissful explosion of flavor! Olive beef hamburger and a warm-hearted hospitality at this restaurant.
During my trip to Shikoku, I encountered a new landmark in Takamatsu! Located on the second floor of a building a little walk from Wazamachi Station, there lies the much-talked-about fine restaurant **"Grill A Table". This place is truly unique—it offers the chance to enjoy Kagawa's pride, the olive beef, grilled over iron plates.
This time, I went all out and enjoyed the **"Olive Steak Grilled on Iron Plates" Course** (Cheese Fondue Course: ¥3,400). It was a wonderful culinary experience that lasted about 1.5 hours.
Let's start with the appetizer, the marinated octopus. The fresh taste of the octopus and the sweet-sour flavor of the blueberries served alongside ricotta cheese create a perfect harmony. Next, the sautéed salmon is paired with a citrus-butter sauce. The fluffy flesh of the salmon combines with a refreshing acidity and the rich aroma of butter, resulting in a light yet profound taste experience.
And now, the main dish, the olive beef hamburger, is ready to be served. Since I ordered a specially prepared cheese fondsue sauce, the hamburger was literally buried in a “sea of cheese”! The visual effect is stunning, and it looks absolutely great for photos. The olive beef has no trace of fat at all; its red meat flavor is perfectly concentrated, allowing us to taste the natural deliciousness of the meat, which rivals the richness of cheese. There’s also a mix of summer vegetables like zucchini added to it, making it easy to eat and refreshing.
The dessert after the meal, the Yoshiya Farm's salt milk jagermeister, is also outstanding. The seasonal fruits are used generously, and the salt flavor enhances the sweetness of the milk, creating a sophisticated taste. Even the coffee, served with miso sugar, is of top quality—without any compromise. The master’s warm personality is evident in this authentic product.
The master from Tokushima was extremely friendly. He even shared special insights about the procurement of olive cattle. The ambiance at this place was top-notch. The delicious food, the quality of service, and the dedication to using high-quality ingredients—everything contributed to an extremely satisfying experience. I highly recommend you make time to enjoy this wonderful experience!

柜台有10个座位,4组餐桌,还有1间私人包房。店主来自德岛,和他聊了很多,氛围非常亲切友好。让人感到很舒适,所以想再次光顾。这里注重使用橄榄牛、阿保牛等优质食材,对餐具和店内装饰也非常讲究,内部装修也很棒。另外,午餐时还可以点单份橄榄牛,所以下次一定要尝试!据说橄榄牛是通过特殊采购渠道获得的,因此只有少数店铺能提供这种美食。听了主人的介绍后,我对这家店更加满意了!
