After 1:00 PM on a weekday
Meeting a friend near Shinjuku Station on the Westbow Line.
友達「お腹が空いてきたなぁー」
I: “There was a restaurant offering Wagyu beef on the street… should I go and have a try?”
So, I came here because I wanted to have a light meal.
BEEF DINING 和牛特区
I didn’t pay much attention, but it looked like a restaurant serving beef hamburgers.
Friend: “The hamburger costs 3280 yen.” (゚∀゚)
I said, "There are other options too, and there's also steak, so let's go in."
Friend: "It's better to part ways... but if it's Mr. Mu who says it(TдT)."
So... I ended up entering the restaurant almost against my will.
Around there, everyone was eating hamburgers.
I asked, "Do you have any steaks?"
Restaurant: “Yes. Currently, there’s a 10% discount available (^o^).”
That's what was said... but my friend was worried about the price.
I said, "This restaurant is the one I will treat you to."
And that's it. The matter is settled. (Tears in laughter)
However... a steak of Kobe beef weighing 150g, priced at 13,000 yen or more, seems like a waste. Moreover... I'm not in the mood for hamburgers or fried potatoes.
和牛TOKステーキ 4000円→10%オフで3600円
Salad Set 450円
※My friend is the same as me.
(For a while… taking photos of the menu, borrowing a toilet.)
The salad set comes with a salad and a drink as a service, along with alcohol too ⤴ So... I chose white wine, while my friend opted for glass beer. It turned out to be a casual meal... but we ended up drinking all night long (^^ゞ
A salad set with a glass of wine costs 450 yen. For a location like this in Kabukicho, it’s quite a bargain. While waiting for the steak, I asked the staff… Apparently, today’s steak is made from Hokkaido-produced black beef. Although our meat doesn’t qualify as A5 grade, we can’t help but feel excited about what might be served with the 4000 yen price tag.
Hey there! Jyann, Zokuden (like a sirloin steak).
I took the photos with a snap!
Friend: "Moo-san, this is really delicious~ヽ(^。^)ノ"
I “Hmm… indeed. That’s great. (*^^*)”
My friend, with his family, always chooses steak as their main meal. Usually, they start with steak, and it seems like they always end up eating something unpleasant. If the food turns out to be bad... that would be really terrible, you know? (Smile bitterly)
I “But… it’s delicious to have steak right away, isn’t it? (^_-)-☆”
And that's how we got to talking about steak. It was good (*^^*)
When I asked to borrow the toilet, it was the first time I noticed something... a familiar mark! Apparently, this place is part of the same chain of grills that I'm used to frequenting—【Heikei-en】 (laugh).
Although it’s not a dish... What I was really concerned about was the toilet.
It's a joint space for men and women, and there's only one such space available. Before I used it... There were parents with their children who hadn't started school using this space, and they had to wait for quite a while. Moreover... There were four people, both male and female, standing behind me.
(There are two steps with a height difference in front of the toilet. Therefore, wheelchair users cannot use this area.)
The interior of the restaurant has a seating capacity of roughly 30 people... However, there is only one toilet that is also used by the staff. That seems quite limited.

After checking later, it seems that...
Yakitori Heijōin
Tokyo Yakiniku Heianji
A premier steakhouse offering all-you-can-eat beef meals. A small but authentic steak restaurant.
ワンギーバーガー
BLT STEAK
Wagyu Special Zone
Kabuki-cho Yakisoba: One Head
It was a franchise store of Hirakōen. According to Wikipedia… There are 34 directly-operated stores in Tokyo, Chiba Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, and茨城県. Among these, there are 27 Hirakōen restaurants specializing in grilled meat, 1 Tokyo Grilled Meat restaurant called “Ichiyaya”, 2 butcher shops, 1 Wagyu Burger restaurant, 1 Wagyu Special Zone restaurant, and 2 BLT Steak restaurants. There are also 2 franchise stores in Tokyo, 1 each in Osaka Prefecture and Toyama Prefecture, and 2 overseas stores in Singapore.
It was great. When the brand marks are the same, in my case... it gives me a sense of reassurance. But when I switch to a different brand, the prices often differ. Sometimes, I really wonder if the company has any confidence in their own brand.
At this price, I feel that a restaurant like Syuuzen would be just as good (^^ゞ
Thank you for your hospitality. Next time, I would like to try another type of meat or steak. I will come again.
