The provided dly was beautifully garnished with white radishes, which truly reflects the effort put in by the kitchen staff.
The rose katsu comes in a small portion of one piece, which has already been cut into pieces.
The meat used for pork grill is similar to rose meat. In terms of appearance, it has a thickness and size similar to that of a pork ginger grill dish.
However, the seasoning is quite strong; there is plenty of sweet sauce applied to the food.
The osaka-cuts are already topped with sauce, but they are crispy and delicious.
The pork steaks have a very sweet sauce. Since the sauce is not applied by soaking the meat, the flavor of the sauce on the surface directly affects the taste of the pork, resulting in an imbalance between the flavors.
Under the two kinds of meat, there are shredded cabbages, and below that, there is rice.
It's a sauce with a strong sweet taste. I really want to eat the rice thoroughly, but 90% of the rice is soaked in the sauce. There are also pieces of rice floating in the sea of sauce.
The rice coated with a strong sweet sauce is difficult to eat together with roe katsus or pork roast.
For reassurance, I asked the staff to confirm whether there was any mistake in this dish. It is indeed a dish like this.
In a beef ramen chain restaurant, there are customers who order "tsuyu-daku". However, I believe that those who prefer rice floating in a sauce with a stronger flavor than the traditional grilled eel sauce are a minority.
I'm sorry, but a large amount of tamari and rice were left behind.
Even after looking at the menu, and considering that the appearance of the dishes was fine, I never thought there could be such a major problem beneath it.
The service was always full, so even with the staff working tirelessly, it was still difficult to keep up with the demand. The efficiency of the operations seemed poor.
Katsuyo's limited-time menu seems to have a lot of "miracle dishes" or exceptional items. Nevertheless, even though there are many such items, its enthusiastic fans still eat them. It's certainly a topic of discussion.
The regular menu is affordable and also delicious, so if you plan to use it regularly, then the regular menu is a good choice.
Ordering a limited-time menu is usually done by passionate fans, adventurers, or wealthy enthusiasts.
Currently, my record is 1 win and 1 loss. The shock of losing this time was too strong, so I don’t have the courage to try again with a temporary menu at this point.
