Used after returning from shopping.
This is a shibu-shibu restaurant located in the restaurant area of Luminé Ikebukuro, near the west entrance of Ikebukuro Station.
We visited around 12 o'clock on Saturday, and the restaurant was almost completely full.
It seemed that there were couples among the customers, and the age group consisted mainly of men and women in their 30s.
When I was guided to a table seat, I was asked to scan the QR code on the tabletop and then order through my smartphone. So, I did as they instructed.
This time, we've added an alcoholic drink option to the Standard Course, which offers a buffet of two types of pork, one type of beef, and chicken stew.
First, order a raw beer to toast each other.
The beer is Asahi Super Dry.
Even amidst quite heavy traffic, the service was extremely fast. Moreover, the jokki was kept cold, and the amount of foam was just right. The dish was delicious, and I really enjoyed it.
Vegetables and other items are available for the bing, so you need to go and pick them yourself according to your preferences. However, alcohol and meat can be ordered via smartphone, making the usability quite good.
Additionally, there were two types of broth available for shibu shibu. So, this time I ordered the kelp broth and the sukiyaki-style broth.
The pork was available in two varieties: pork butt and pork loin. The texture and the penetration of the broth varied between them. Personally, I found the pork loin to be more palatable, so I ordered a larger portion of pork loin.
The beef was served with a sukiyaki-style broth, and we were allowed to eat eggs freely, so we didn’t hesitate to enjoy them.
Being a "sukiyaki-style" dish, the broth is relatively light and easy to consume. Therefore, it was enjoyable to eat, and even udon served after the meal was delicious.
The vegetable buffet offers a wide variety of options, and each dish is fresh and delicious. It’s worth going out of our way to pick up some of these dishes just to enjoy them.
The desserts, such as ice cream and waffles, were also available for free. Personally, I really liked the waffles that were served warm from the oven. So, I ordered more of them.
Even after consuming such a large amount of food and drinks, the cost per person was only around 4,000 yen. Therefore, the level of satisfaction is quite high.
Thank you for your hospitality.
