Located quietly in the bustling streets of Nakanosima, "Mino Shou" is a small restaurant.

The interior of the restaurant features a mezzanine floor on both the counter and the tables, providing seating for large groups.
Every table is equipped with a gas stove, and as soon as you take your seat, the broth made from clams and tofu is cooked over the stove.
The shellfish you pride yourself on are brought to you in their live state as part of the menu. They are fresh items that are prepared right after being ordered.
Since it's an opportunity, I have been served clam, urchin, and oysters.

Firstly, the set of蛤のお出汁 as a starter is very pleasant, gently infusing its flavor into the stomach, allowing it to rest thoroughly.
The sashimi allows you to enjoy the crispy texture of octopus suckers, while the egg of the pollock fish and the minerals from shrimp add richness to the dish, making it perfect for pairing with alcohol.

Finally, we enjoyed the grilled crab, which offered a homey and delicious taste.
Especially the fresh scallop shabushabu was something I had never tasted before. For just a moment, just before the scallop turned white, its freshness and deliciousness were simply outstanding!

They recommend excellent dishes, and I often order a lot of them. However, all the dishes they serve are really good and worth trying.
When leaving the restaurant, they would escort you all the way outside. During that process, they would strike each of your right shoulders with a firestone, in order to promote growth and prosperity. It's a quite traditional practice.
The client who invited us wanted this service to be done, so we ended up going there anyway.
