Yesterday, my family stayed at Yutani Onsen, and today we headed towards Fenglai Temple Mountain.
Since the check-out time at the hostel was AM11:00, we were able to enjoy ourselves very comfortably. We drove towards Fenglai Temple Mountain, but arrived around noon.
Visited Fenglai Temple and Dongzhaoying. By the way, it's already 1:15 PM. Indeed, having breakfast at a late time definitely affects lunch. I don't feel particularly hungry right now, but somehow, I seem to be feeling hungry at this strange hour.
Therefore, searching for a restaurant in an area I'm not familiar with is quite stressful for me, who usually only visit BMW stores.
I found a restaurant I'm interested in, but its location is in the suburbs of Shin City. Time is running out until our lunch break ((((;゜Д゜)))
While driving towards the Xincheng IC, with the intention of eating somewhere on the worst road sections, I noticed a Japanese restaurant called “Akaike” about a few kilometers after leaving Benchō Station.
When searching on Yumelog, there are no reviews yet. I was curious about what kind of cuisine it offers and what kind of atmosphere the restaurant has, so I decided to give it a try.
The time is 1:45 PM. The gate is still open, and there are signs indicating that the restaurant is open for business.
I immediately entered the restaurant and was guided to a table where we were four people. The warm sunlight streamed in, and it was a bright room by the window.
First guests were two people: a man who seemed to be a salaried worker (likely a salesperson?) eating late lunch, and a local resident.
Looking at the menu, it seems that the lunch service only offers set meals. On the back side, most of the items are beverages, and overall, the selection is limited.
Among them…
I ordered a "Rosu-cat Curry Set (1,300 yen)".
Husband and mother-in-law ordered "Ebi Hirayaki Cutlet Set (1580 yen)".
My son ordered a "Sashimi Set (1,480 yen)".
I ordered this.
Upon observing the interior of the restaurant, it has a somewhat seafood-themed atmosphere. On the whiteboard behind the counter, menus such as "○○'s Sashimi," "△△'s Sashimi," and "□□'s Sashimi" are listed. It seems that during the evening hours, one might enjoy dishes related to seafood.
It was also visible that there were wine bottles that seemed to be used for keeping the alcohol.
The cooking was carried out by the master behind the counter. After the orders of previous customers were served, our cooking began. The first dish that was prepared was my son’s "Sashimi Order". Following that, the fried dishes, namely "Ebi Hiru Katsu Order" and "Rozu Katsu Order", were served in succession.
Still, I don’t feel hungry at all. But when I see it right in front of me, I really want to eat it.
Well, all the dishes have been prepared.
It's a late lunch, but I'll have it, ^person^.
I would like to review only my "Rossyaki Set Dinner".
Upon looking at the main rostカツ, I thought that the meat might be a bit thin. But when I served it with the sauce… the umami of the meat was trapped by the batter, and together with the sourness of the sauce, it spread smoothly in my mouth.
The katsu is really delicious~♪♪ I just can't stop eating it!
Normally, I would start with a miso soup to moisten my throat, but this time, I decided to eat it directly from the katsu (^_^;)
Therefore, I will have another serving of miso soup.
The ingredients include yakisoba, echinacea, radish, and ginger. The radish and ginger are finely chopped. The miso seems to be used in combination with the other ingredients. The broth is very strong and delicious! ♪♪
I place potato salad beside the osaka-cuts, and then I enjoy eating it slowly and savoring each bite.
In the small bowls, there is a dish of spinach and carrots mixed with sesame oil. This also has a great flavor.
すべての料理は丁寧に作られており、家族との楽しいランチタイムとなりました。
It was delicious. Thank you very much. (^人^)
