First, let's toast with beer. After that, I ordered the black Kishima water that I've been keeping in a bottle. My partner stopped drinking after two glasses of beer.

As the weather became cooler, we decided to serve the main dish of Chankanpo pot. There were two types of ingredients in the pot: bird meat and tofu. After discussing the options, we chose bird meat.

Sashimi is particularly delicious.
It's unfortunate that we cannot show you the dish of "Bird Neck Chakko Pot." It would have been sufficient for two people to have half the size of the dish. We asked for an additional portion of broth, and then turned it into a mixed soup. We lightly mixed in raw eggs, and added some green onions. Delicious! It became warmer after being reheated.
As a little cool-down, we used matcha and vanilla ice cream to end the meal.

Last night, it opened at the local Hanakura-ya restaurant with 11 people attending. It was a get-together with only about 5 hours left before closing. There were also participants from Fukuoka.
The age range of the participants is actually from 26 years old to 65 years old.

A gathering of 4 members from the Nishineko Fuku Club in Shinbun-ku.
Members include a director of a medical foundation, a senior engineer at Canon, a lawyer, and me—an unemployed individual.
As usual, I realized that some photos were missed at the end of the banquet.
Tornado No. 15 has passed by, and the temperature is 25 degrees.
Since it's a bit cooler now, I've decided to use chako-nabe (not with meatballs, but with bird meat) as the main dish.
Let's toast with beer. After that, everyone ordered black kumisomachi water mixed with beer; one bottle each. The engineers ordered two highball drinks.
The dishes are as follows.
Served as appetizers: edamame, tuna stewed in soy sauce, fried young coconut, stir-fried pork loin. As side dishes: crab with asparagus salad, lamb stew, pot roast (no memory of eating it). For the main course, due to the salmon sashimi running out of stock, we ordered eel, chicken goulash in a chon-ko pot. After that, we added soup to make a miso broth. I forgot about the other dishes I ordered. The dish was warmed up in the chon-ko pot.
The topics include my daughter's study abroad in the United States, her childbirth in the US, how lawyers handle custody issues in divorce cases, and managing engineers.
It was an off-site event starting before 6 p.m., but it was packed. As expected, it’s difficult to get in without making a reservation. What a great place for that.

We recommended this place to those who want to enjoy roast birds and shochu.

I've kept a bottle of Kurokumijima sake, so it's a pretty strong drink when diluted with water. The conversation revolved around things from my student days, family, and future retirement life.
Across the country, real estate prices have been rising. It seems that the price of a condominium in Fukuoka, purchased 25 years ago, has almost doubled. Starting this year, she is receiving a pension, and she plans to travel back to Tokyo again at the end of the year. We both hope to enjoy our retirement lives together.

Last week, I visited Hana-ryokan three times.

Yesterday, it was raining and very cold, so my colleague came from Meilong without having lunch. She wanted to eat a hot pot.
