This is a recent topic among people! A restaurant that lives up to the reviews—long and delicious as expected!
Located in an area that is just one station away from the central part of Osaka, at Osaka Station, lies a new restaurant called “Fukushima Area Sushi Osaka Organic!!!” In this unique restaurant, sushi is the main focus, but organic ingredients are also emphasized. Additionally, you can enjoy yakiniku and other creative dishes as well. I was surprised when I first visited, thinking that sushi and yakiniku would be served in the same space. However, after experiencing it firsthand, I found that the combination was surprisingly natural, and both dishes complemented each other’s charm. There are many such restaurants, but these two locations are truly outstanding. I would like to introduce you to their unique features, using my own experiences as well as those of other customers.
Firstly, what stands out is the atmosphere of the restaurant. As you enter the store, you immediately notice a long counter area, allowing you to fully experience the live process of sushi and yakitori being prepared right in front of you. It’s like having a 20-seat counter! Sitting at the counter and watching the chefs work while enjoying your meal is truly special. At the back of the store, there are also table seats, making it suitable for those who prefer quiet conversations. These tables seem to be in short supply. The space feels both traditional and modern, providing a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, Wi-Fi and power outlets are available, which is quite surprising given its traditional setting. It’s a truly unique space design that combines tradition with modernity.
The most distinctive feature of Sushi Osaka Organic is that it allows you to enjoy two different types of cuisine at the same time: sushi and yakiniku. The delicacy of Edo-style sushi, combined with the robust flavor of chicken grilled over charcoal, offers an experience that is unique here. In fact, there seems to be no sense of discord when these two dishes are paired together; instead, their aromas and flavors complement each other beautifully. After eating sushi, enjoying a piece of yakiniku can help reset your taste buds with the aroma of charcoal, allowing you to savor the next serving of sushi with fresh enthusiasm once more. It’s truly a rhythm in dining that is well-calculated. I must also mention the Kishu Bonan charcoal…
The quality of the dishes is also excellent. The ingredients for sushi are all of high freshness, and it is mentioned that the oysters used are those without additives. The instant melting sweetness when you bite into them, along with the lingering richness in the aftertaste, were truly impressive. The shari is light and airy, with a well-balanced vinegar level that supports the ingredients. As for the kotoriki, it is made from organic chicken, and the slow cooking over charcoal ensures that the umami flavors are fully concentrated, resulting in a delicious aroma. The parts like the liver and other delicacies seem to reflect the freshness of the chicken itself in their taste. Each piece is carefully cooked, and there isn’t a single defect among them.
I would also like to mention the service. At the counter, the chef and the staff work together to serve the food in a lively manner. However, some reviews have mentioned that the chef sometimes gives instructions to the staff that may be considered rude. It's possible that this might bother some people. But when I visited, I felt that the chef's dedication as a professional was evident, and it was a pleasant experience. The service itself is friendly, and the staff provide detailed explanations about the dishes, so you can enjoy your meal with confidence. They also have multilingual menus available, which shows their concern for international tourists. This is a characteristic of a city like Osaka.
The richness of the course meals is also one of the attractions of this restaurant. For example, the “Matsun Course” costs 9,899 yen (including taxes), offering a balanced combination of sushi and yakiniku. The “Extreme Course” ranges from 13,200 yen (including taxes), allowing you to enjoy more premium ingredients and rare cuts. Moreover, the VIP Course costs 19,800 yen (including taxes), although it is more expensive. However, it offers a luxurious selection of dishes, making it ideal for special occasions or business dinners. I tried the Extreme Course, and not only was the quality of the sushi excellent, but the variety of yakiniku cuts and the ingenuity in the individual dishes also impressed me. The satisfaction from the price was overwhelming. On special occasions like birthdays, there is also a service called “Birthday Plate”. This makes it perfect for dates or birthday celebrations.
The price range is around 10,000 to 20,000 yen, which is not cheap at all. However, considering the quality of the food, the uniqueness of the experience, the atmosphere, and the service, I find this price point quite reasonable. There are many sushi restaurants and yakitori shops in Osaka, but few places offer both these items in one place. The rarity of such a combination is what makes this place so special. Additionally, the concept of “organic” is a significant advantage in today’s era where there is a growing emphasis on health and safety. From the choice of ingredients to the cooking methods, there seems to be no compromise. Everything here tastes great. This local chicken is simply outstanding!
Overall, I believe Sushi Osaka Organic is a place that satisfies one's desire for exploration in the world of food. I am truly impressed by their ability to combine the delicacy of sushi with the strength of yakitori—elements that seem to be completely opposite at first glance. Not only is the quality of the dishes themselves outstanding, but the space design of the restaurant and the service provided also contribute to its high level of completion as a experiential restaurant. If I must point out any drawbacks, it might be the character of the chef and his approach to customer service. However, considering these aspects as part of the restaurant's unique charm, they can be considered more than just minor flaws.
If you really want to have a little special experience in Osaka, or if you like both sushi and yakiniku, and you want to enjoy food that is committed to quality ingredients and trustworthy in terms of taste, then this restaurant should definitely be on your list. It's a great choice for both tourists and local residents who are looking for something new to discover. I myself have decided to visit again, and I'm also considering trying the VIP menu next time. Osaka's food culture is constantly evolving, and among all of them, Sushi Osaka Organic seems to be something worth paying attention to. I truly hope that many people can experience this unique dining experience that only this place offers. Definitely a repeat visit! Top-notch service. Among Osaka's yakiniku options, this place is the best. And for sushi, it's even better! The prices are also very reasonable.
In other words, it's outstanding!! This restaurant is amazing. The local chicken here is simply delicious!!
