My dining experience at Tsurigorō Akihabara was overall very satisfying. First of all, the interior is lively yet also has a calm atmosphere, making it perfect for dining after work or with friends. The variety of menus is impressive, and the dishes I ordered this time were well-balanced.
The omelette served at first was slightly sweet and was baked to perfection. The umami of the broth spread gently throughout, making it an excellent dish as a side dish. The gentle flavor of the eggs warmed the stomach, boosting my anticipation for the upcoming dishes.
The cherry salad was perfect as a preparation before the grilled dishes. The aroma of sesame oil stimulated appetite, and the crisp texture of lettuce helped to cleanse the mouth. The saltiness was just right, and it complemented even the most fatty dishes perfectly.
The next item that appeared on the menu was a cheese fry. It had a crispy exterior, while the inside was filled with creamy cheese. The crust was neither too thick nor too thin, making it a perfect choice for beer. However, it was regrettable that the serving temperature was a bit low.
The five types of grilled chicken (with sauces) can be considered main dishes. Each has its own unique characteristics. Especially the bonjirin was rich in fatty flavors, with a juicy texture. The cutlet was soft, and the slightly sweet and spicy sauce well absorbed into it, making it suitable for everyone. The skin was fragrant and crispy from the roasting process, without any unpleasant greasiness. The thigh meat, despite being a classic choice, had the perfect degree of grilling, perfectly capturing the chicken’s flavors. The remaining one piece had an unknown cut, but likely it was thigh meat. Its good texture left a lasting impression.
This ginger-salt beef teriyaki is enhanced by finely chopped ginger and the sour taste of lemon, which brings out the umami of the beef. The texture is also soft, resulting in a high level of satisfaction. Although the seasoning is well done, it isn’t too salty; the flavor of the meat stands out prominently.
ジャガミタ焼きは、ホクホクのジャガイモと明太子の塩気がマッチしており、食べやすい味わいでした。バターが加えられていたのか、コクもあり、家庭的ながらも工夫が感じられる一品でした。
The last beef teriyaki sashimi was quite surprising. It was served in a semi-frozen state, and its texture became more tender over time. One could fully enjoy the natural sweetness and smooth taste of the beef teriyaki. The combination with wasaebi soy sauce was particularly excellent. The freshness was also excellent, making it perfect as an accompaniment to alcohol.
Overall, the balance between the quality of the cuisine and its price is excellent. The service provided by the staff was also very polite and comfortable. When you want to enjoy roasted chicken and alcoholic beverages in Akihabara, Tsurigoro is definitely a solid choice.
