Even on weekdays, Kaido Sai is still popular.
Among the five limited menu items available for weekdays, I chose the pork flat-roasted set meal.
The pork pan-seared dish was delicious, as its sauce and mayonnaise complemented the egg roll perfectly.
Serves miso soup and pickles, and 638 yen is a great price.
I ate while drinking high-ball.
Since it wasn't satisfying enough, I ordered one of the famous dishes of the restaurant—the "幻の鶏皮串".
The sauce was thick, which made the sake more appealing. I added a high-ball and Sapporo Beer Red Star Large Bottle.
The beer is extremely cold and refreshing.
Since I really want to go again, I stopped ordering here.

Today, we visited the second restaurant—the "Dōshū Sakuhō Kado Shō".
After 16:00, the restaurant was almost fully booked. However, there were only two empty seats at the counter, so we decided to take those seats.
This time, we will refrain from using "Akatsuna Daibon," and only serve Hibolove.
From the usual set menu, it's a combination of eel with eggs and seaweed. Delicious.
I prepared this dish using a traditional recipe for "幻の鶏皮串". It had a steady and delicious taste.
I was struggling to decide which dish to choose next, but this time I added ajirojira. I thought there wouldn't be a tartar sauce, but unexpectedly, it was hidden beneath the two ajirojiras. (Laughs)
Normally, I eat it with soy sauce, but the tartar sauce is also delicious.
The restaurant was always crowded.

I had decided what I wanted to eat, and was looking forward to it. I ordered the Katsuo Agari-yaki Half.
I was able to see someone burning mackerel using straw in front of me.
On the table: grilled bonito.
It has a pleasant fragrance.
Generally, people eat it with ponzu. But at Kaido Sai, the salt is served on a plate. When you add garlic to the salt and eat it, the combination of garlic aroma and other flavors makes it extremely delicious.
Personally, I prefer to eat it with salt.
I really wanted to drink beer, so I ordered an additional bottle of Sapporo Beer Akasaki.

It seemed that many people ordered the regular meal with a large portion of rice.
By the way, I was also interested in the jumbo shrimp meal and the fried chicken meal. If I can go there on a weekday next time, I would like to order them.

It's really addictive. I would like to go there again.
