Recently, I haven't visited any restaurants near Kashiwazaki Station. But on a Sunday afternoon, I thought about trying to have some sushi for lunch.
The shops in the Kobe Station building used to require a long wait time, so I headed towards this place in Kobe City by bus.
It is located a little bit after entering from National Route 16.
I have a pleasant memory of a chain restaurant that was located in Chiba Prefecture.
We ordered a 60-minute alcoholic drink special offer for 1,250 yen.
After drinking four glasses of raw beer, one should expect to feel hungry.
It was delicious, but the sliced tuna was a bit too thick.
For maki-zushi, a piece of meat of appropriate size is considered delicious. However, it can be a bit difficult to eat.
Others were satisfied.
I also received miso soup that comes for free through the app.
The service was pleasant.
Finally, I couldn’t get the hole-kyu-maki that I ordered, so I decided to decline it.
I was worried about the time for the bus, but the staff told me that it would be ready soon, which made me feel disappointed.
Sorry for increasing food waste.

Since I came here by car, there is no alcohol served.
A restaurant located in the suburbs of Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture.
This is a military ship (Nammaro). It's really delicious.
Additionally, the raw ham was also delicious.
On weekdays during the day, there were more female customers.
(Eaten items: Total of 2,140 yen)
しめさば 280円
Ewashii 250 yen
なめろう 350円
Hei Moku 530 yen
ネギとろ巻き 300円
Raw Bacon 430 yen

A sushi chain with its headquarters in Omono City, Chiba Prefecture, and expanding mainly within the prefecture.
Due to a shortage of staff, the sushi restaurant in the Kobe Station building has a very long wait time on weekends. So, I used the bus to get here.
Regarding the preference for eating hand-rolled sushi, I will write down my preferences.
① Using garlic soaked in soy sauce as a starter ingredient
This is also recommended for foreigners or children who find it difficult to use chopsticks.
Using chopsticks to eat sushi is even difficult for Japanese people. However, this method is simple, beautiful, and delicious—it even has a subtle garlic aroma.
I think that sushi restaurants should promote this way of eating even more for foreign customers.
② Choose to eat according to your preference from the set options.
Many restaurants offer this option as a more economical choice compared to set meals.
Also, you can choose to eat only the ingredients that suit your preferences.
③I won't request anything like 〇〇三貫 in chain restaurants.
Sometimes, it might not be a topic you like, so I would rather avoid such menus.
On that day, I ordered three kilos of local fish. However, I felt that it was a failure.
It's better to only eat the ingredients you like.
(Today's food)
Local fish: three grams each (hake, sawara, catfish)
Golden cod (I believe it comes from Chiba Prefecture)
True tuna
Live octopus
Namero Gun
活赤貝
Nigy toro seikan
Aoza Soup (Free when presented at the restaurant)
Live Beer Premium Moritz
Sake Sanzen (Chiba Prefecture, Kimura City)
I was very satisfied after eating the sushi I liked. The price was 4,280 yen.
The last photo is an extra.
While organizing my suitcases at home, I came across a ticket from the Giants Cozesway & Bushmills railway that I had used in Northern Ireland.
I decided to visit this railway after seeing a steam locomotive running from the TV Asahi's "World's Window" program. However, when I visited in 2015, the train was being operated by a battery-powered system (corrected from "diesel"). Photos of this scene can be found on the operating company's Facebook page.

The homepage has lost its links.
Is this railway still in operation today?

The first category is sushi, but it's not actually sushi that rotates. (It says "sushi" on the plate, but it's not actually sushi that rotates.)
I considered this restaurant to be a proud chain sushi restaurant in Chiba Prefecture.
What you ate
Flavor: Golden tuna, Aosasa soup (free via app), Nameroku (gunboat), local fish with three grams of meat, Ikka, True tuna, Marugo beef grilled, raw beer, Seiganzen (Tsutsu City), one serving of cold sake, 2 glasses of Jimbium highball
Total cost: 4,130 yen
It’s a bit far from the station, but it was a good restaurant.
The golden tuna was absolutely wonderful.
(Aside)
Found a sign at the local liquor store that says "We now offer fresh beer at Masya Liquor." (Photo 33, third from the back)
