A restaurant that I really want to visit when I'm in Mitaka at noon.
11:50, there were 6 people in line at the restaurant entrance. It took about 15 minutes to get inside.
The famous mackerel tartare was sold out, but today’s highlight is grilled fish.
【ORDER】
Sashimi salt-baked set meal, rice extra large portion (+120 yen)
The freshly cooked salted salmon was served in just over 10 minutes.
The pork cutlet has a crispy skin and plenty of fat, topped with an abundant amount of rough radish otsushimi.
The generous portion of salmon is truly delicious.
Lunch mainly features sashimi dishes, but grilled fish is also highly recommended.
It took 40 minutes from when the order was placed until the restaurant was left empty.
Since it’s just the owner cooking alone, you need to be prepared with some time during lunch breaks. However, it’s definitely worth the effort.

It's my third visit.
During lunchtime, when I am in the area around Mitsuda, my feet tend to wander towards that direction on their own.
If you arrive before 12 o’clock during lunchtime, the temaki of mackerel is already sold out. Today, there are no dumplings available.
The options are either a "sashimi set meal" or a "steak salt-baked set meal" only.
【ORDER】
Sashimi set meal: 1,250 yen
※ Starting from September, there is a notice indicating an increase in lunch prices.
The thick sashimi was satisfying to eat, and it was extremely delicious.
At 12:05, it was already sold out. After this, we only have salmon salt-baked meal platters available.
It's good that I managed to get there just in time for the sashimi.
Next, I would like to visit this place leisurely and order a set meal of salmon salt-baked dishes.

arrived at 11:10.
The nearby company was in its lunch break, so I got there first.
It's a scorching hot day with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius. Fortunately, the area in front of the restaurant is somewhat shaded. I waited for 20 minutes. By the time the restaurant opened, there was already a queue of 9 people waiting to be served.
Just 5 minutes after opening, the restaurant was fully booked. The most popular dish, “Takaki Steak Set,” was sold out already.
The mackerel is firm and chewy when squeezed open, with a pleasant texture in the mouth.
I will enjoy it with green onions, ginger, and dashi seasonings.
This is the second time I visit Mitsuda. Every time I come here, I really want to try the very delicious sashimi made with mackerel.
Please be aware that the miso soup is still hot.
The salt-baked salmon that the person next to me was eating also looked delicious.

11:20 – 開店の10分前に到着したところ、すでに5人の人が待っていました。
If you simply stood in line, by the time the restaurant opened, there were already about 15 people in line.
I sat down at the counter, and immediately after, I was asked to order something. I chose to order a "grilled mackerel set meal".
Since there is no menu at the counter, it is recommended to decide on your order in advance before entering the restaurant.
Tea, natto, pickled vegetables, and rice were served one after another. The main dish, grilled mackerel, and miso soup were served over the counter.
The mackerel has absolutely no odor, and when served with green onions, it has a very good taste, smooth and delicious.
I've never had such delicious mackerel in Tokyo before.
The rice is a bit more than usual, but the food keeps flowing smoothly.
The freshly cooked miso soup is my favorite, but those with a cold stomach should be careful.
The restaurant seems to have a capacity of about 10 people inside. The “Takaki Set meal” for lunch is available for approximately 10 servings. At the second round of opening hours, people waiting outside were informed that this item was sold out.
If you want to try the famous "Takadai Dinner of Shrimp," it is highly recommended to queue up before the restaurant opens.
