Basically, I'm a bit shy, so I can't go to restaurants that allow self-service. However, after hearing from a friend that the soup there was delicious, I decided to try it during my lunch break.
◆ソルロンタンクッパ定食 (税込 \1250)
DAY-1は、真っ白なスープです。
A salted soup based on beef tendon is served, with thinly sliced beef added to it.
The pure white soup has a rich umami taste due to its broth, making it extremely delicious. Even when the soup becomes thicker, you can still eat it without any concerns.
And the side dishes were meticulously prepared, with salads and kimchi that were truly delicious. It felt like a must-visit place for another visit—a true DAY-1.
◆スネウゴジスープ定食 (税込 \1100)
DAY-2는 처음 듣는 "スネウゴジ"입니다.
After a quick search on Google, it seems that this dish is made using beef shin meat and features a spicy sauce. I took a small bite, and it turned out to be quite spicy.
However, this dish also has a strong base of broth, making it extremely delicious.
What makes me happy is the abundance of ingredients. Although it’s cheaper than DAY-1, it still contains plenty of cabbage and minced meat.
Moreover, the umami of the thigh meat is strong, and it enhances the deliciousness of the soup when paired with bok choy.
Cheap, delicious, and with plenty of meat – I really liked it.
◆石焼ピビンパ定食 (税込 \1550)
Day-3 chose a rice dish.
Since the grilled pibipan was 1100 yen, I hesitated. But I decided to go for the stone-roasted pibipan instead.
Due to the large amount of seaweed used as toppings, the dish appears darker in color in the photo. Under the seaweed, there are Namul kimchi, ground meat, and egg yolks arranged on top.
Add the accompanying source material and stir it lightly. When you press it against the outer edge of the stone pot, a pleasant burning sound will be heard, along with the aroma that begins to emanate.
I will start by eating the central part that isn’t burnt. The noodles are delicious, and the umami flavor of ground meat and sweet soy sauce is very strong.
And from the second half onwards, we start eating the burnt parts. The pieces that are removed from the pot are beautiful in appearance and have a wonderful aroma. When combined with the noodles or meat, they become extremely delicious.
The price is a bit high, but if you have plenty of time, stone-roasted dishes are definitely worth trying.
The soup at DAY-1 and DAY-2 is truly delicious. The noodle dishes, including the stone-roasted pibipap, are also excellent. The cooking is done with great care.
I really want to go there even at night...
