Two old men embarked on a Goto Island food tour. They were reluctant to waste any time and chose to enjoy the beautiful view of Sakashima from the train window along the Hitopu Main Line. Then they moved to Koganezuka Station. There, they visited the highly regarded barbecue restaurant "Kogoshima Yakinu Hōrōmon Sudaku Kikashima Koganezuka Honban". They purchased a whole cow of black beef, and the restaurant offers rare cuts and fresh beef organs. It’s an ideal place for those who love barbecue. Of course, the main attraction here is barbecue. The exterior features a large logo of a cow. Inside, all seats are semi-private rooms, and there’s a ventilation system that’s ten times better than usual. This makes it a comfortable and safe place to enjoy barbecue. The staff are also very polite, and their smiling faces left a good impression on us.

Three types of pork tenderloins are served: red meat pork, thick pork, and beef thick pork. If the cooking degree is set to a lighter level, the umami flavor spreads out beautifully with each bite. The beef thick pork has a firm texture, while the pork tenderloins are slightly tender. They pair well with lemon sauce. The red meat pork is soft and has a light aftertaste.

Soft texture, with the unique chew and sweetness of Kagoshima black cattle. When cooked at a medium-rare level, the juices of the meat spread throughout the mouth.
~特選大判赤身焼きしゃぶ~
As its name suggests, it’s a large-sized dish. Only one side is lightly grilled, and the egg is incorporated into the dish to create a sashimi-like texture. It has a fluffy, creamy texture when eaten in the mouth.

Added for grilled shabu. Rich in texture, with firm yolks that gently wrap around the meat's umami flavors.
~近江牛特選サーロインステーキ~
A luxurious dish with a moist sauce that becomes even sweeter with each bite. The aroma alone is enough to make you crave the rice. It's cooked over a iron plate.
