On a weekday at 14:30, we made a reservation for three people and visited the restaurant.
At Korea Takanmari, what's really appreciated is that they operate on a continuous basis ( •̀ω•́ )σ. While I see stores that have continuous operations on weekends, the fact that they are open every day except Monday makes them truly exceptional. This is definitely a great option for those who can't go out late at night, such as during mother's meetings. (。•ᴗ•∩)

While drinking the oshibushi, three types of appetizers were served, along with cheese dumplings.
The appetizer set includes five options: kimchi, green onions and asparagus namul, Korean-style yatta, and special spicy pickles. You can choose three of these items✨️ This is really a tough decision ( ´~`) My personal favorite is the kimtomat. It combines the sweetness of tomatoes with the spiciness and umami of kimchi, making it suitable for eating like a salad. A new type of kimchi indeed.

Before the Takanmari arrives, the chef, while excited, mixes ingredients such as homemade chili-based sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, and mustard to create his own unique sauce. This spicy and sour sauce helps to enhance the umami flavor of the Takanmari.

Finally, the Takanmari appeared at the restaurant. The staff carefully cut it with a sharp knife, ensuring that every piece was perfectly prepared. The soup has a transparent amber color, made from carefully prepared chicken bones and a variety of aromatic vegetables. There’s no fancy seasoning at all; instead, the natural flavor of the chicken is simply extracted. Upon drinking a sip, one can feel the rich taste of the chicken spreading throughout the body. After the savory flavor spreads, the aroma of garlic fills the air. Everyone would surely want to carry this soup in a water bottle for easy transportation.

Carefully cooked chicken is extremely tender. It's cooked thoroughly from the inside out, yet it remains crisp and juicy to the point of overflowing(*´ч`*). Even if you touch it with chopsticks, the meat peels away easily from the bones, and that tenderness really amazes me Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ

After savoring the chicken meat to the fullest, it’s time to move on to the satisfying final step. For those who love noodles, we have the Calgucus; for those who prefer rice, we offer a miso soup set. This time, I chose the Calgucus✨️ When adding the soft and chewy Calgucus to the soup, it gradually adds thickness to the broth. Its deliciousness is truly addictive—it makes one crave a bowl of comfort food. (*'ᵕ' )☆

I was surprised to find that dessert with Yeogruish Vanilla Ice and yogurt actually has such a good compatibility. I’ll definitely try making it at home too. ꉂꉂ

The sauce and soup, of course, as well as the chicken itself, were all made with high quality ingredients—nothing was neglected in the preparation of these delicious Takamari dishes. (*^^*) Truly, this is a takamari specialty store.
