Today marks the beginning of the three consecutive weekends. It's a weekend on a weekday, so I'll be spending it alone. Just like usual...
On the first day, let's go to Kameido. In the time I haven't been there, there seem to be more and more attractive restaurants.
Tamil Nadu, Kerala, India, Thailand… What a dilemma. Maybe I should move to Kameido instead.
Oh, what a wonderful thing to see - there's a Takari Banchia! Did they move it from Oomori?
The Takali people are known for their particular attention to cuisine among the ethnic groups in Nepal, and they are also recognized for their high level of education.
This is the only option left. We transferred at Yozhou Station and continued on the Kameido Line.
Looking at the map, it seems that this place is close to Kameido Station. However, upon arrival, it's located in a less conspicuous area with no significant foot traffic.
Upon entering, I saw one group of customers who had arrived earlier. It seemed to be a family from Nepal.
There was also one other customer, but they seemed to be Nepalis. So, I was the only person from Japan there.
Orders are made by scanning a QR code using a smartphone. This is very convenient, isn't it?
●タカリーセット 1200円
●ハイボール 495円
It takes about 10 minutes to complete. “Thank you.” Since I could choose the curry, I chose the lamb curry.
Before eating, while we were taking the usual photo shoot, Taka Lima brought over a water jug.
And he poured the liquid from the kettle into the rice. What the hell!!( ; ロ)゚ ゚
Its actual identity is, well, butter. Not butter or margarine—but butter. It's a sight I've never seen before.
The rice makes a whooshing sound. It's truly moving.
Next, they also added it to Dal. I'm so happy.
And this rice and dal can be ordered in additional portions as well. At this point, it's simply amazing.
Since it's a special occasion, let's first try eating just the rice that was served with the meal.
It can be said that just with these ingredients, the meal is already complete. What a delicious Girai soup it must be!
While the rice is mainly short-grain rice, it also contains a blend of long-grain rice, making it extremely delicious.
I break open the papad, place it on the rice, and then eat it with dal, mutton curry, and other side dishes.
The green-colored dumpling is filled with plenty of beans, so it has a thick texture. The addition of butter further enhances its consistency, making it an absolutely delicious dish.
This dish alone seems to be enough to satisfy one's hunger for rice.
Mutton curry contains plenty of boneless lamb, and this too is extremely delicious.
Carrots and chickpeas curry, sag, chutney, etc. – whatever you mix them with, it tastes delicious.
The spiciness wasn’t that extreme. Adding a little Chatoni gave it a different taste, with both spice and acidity, making it more delicious.
As the rice became less, they suggested that I order more. So, I asked for more along with the dal.
Both options can be prepared right in front of you as much as you like, so even a small portion is a safe choice.
The payment was made using PayPay. Since I had accumulated points, the transaction was paid for at a cost that was essentially zero. m(__)m
I never thought that I would be able to enjoy such delicious Nepali cuisine in Kameido.
Thank you for your hospitality.
