After work, feeling like eating soba, I decided to go to the usual "Ora ga Soba Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi Store".
It’s located on the first floor of the Keikyū Tsushimi Station, so it’s very convenient to eat and then immediately catch a train.
First, we need to check the seasonal menu.
The fried eggplant and shiitake mushrooms are also quite appealing, but today I might as well choose the "Eggplant and Pork Tenderloin Stir-Fry with Shinshū Miso" (580 yen).
Additionally, of course, raw beer (490 yen).
While drinking beer and waiting, it finally arrived—eggplant and pork butt stir-fry.
Just the right amount of richness.
The miso seems to have perfectly combined the eggplant and pork butt. That's how it feels.
If you add more spices, it will gain even more power.
Quickly, the beer ran out.
But I’ll just have one more drink today. I’ll stop here for now.
Because I really want to eat the "Tasty Spicy Beef Soba" (Extra Large, 1,180 yen) for the first time in a long time.
Due to budget constraints.
Well, this is a dish called "Tasteful Spicy Beef Soba."
It's a soba that is served by placing cold soba in hot soy sauce.
In that soup, there are layers of soy sauce floating on top, and also chili powder is also floating there.
And on top of it, there's plenty of thinly sliced beef.
By choosing the "Special Large" option, the cost is 1.5 times that of the regular size (890 yen), including both beef and soba.
First of all, this soup.
Due to the rao oil and chili peppers, it's quite spicy.
But since both are on the surface, they get intertwined and gradually disappear. Eventually, they become completely ineffective.
Moreover, because it is served with cold soba, the warmth soon disappears. It's inevitable that it will cool down, but it's still a pity.
And the most prominent feature is, of course, the beef.
It would be ideal if the amount served in a bowl of Nikudon at this restaurant was more than just "one serving".
By the way, what should we do with these raw eggs in another small bowl?
I tried cooking beef in soy sauce, then letting it soak through a raw egg before eating it. Or conversely, putting the raw egg into the soy sauce. But which way is the correct method?
While eating, I was hesitant. Isn't this amount more than 1.5 times the regular portion?
While thinking about it, I ended up full and that's it.
Even so, "sobatyu" + "ラー油" is usually considered a bad method, but why is it so delicious?
Although the budget for dinner on a weekday was exceeded, I was satisfied.
This is a review of "Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi Store," a restaurant we haven't visited for a long time.
A noodle house belonging to the Gourmet Tsukiyama Group, located on the first floor of the elevated Keikyū Tsukiyama Station.
As I picked up the menu, it seemed that some items had increased in price before I returned.
Well, there's no other way.
Live beer (490 yen) and seasonal menu items
Tori skin skewers, spicy garlic sauce (3 pieces, 300 yen)
Cold Noodle with Wasaibu Kelp (380 Yen)
Order.
Ah, "Toripi Tsukuri Pilu Shoku Nenchi" is a seasonal menu item, but it's also listed as a "famous dish" on the regular menu.
This is a product I'm seeing for the first time. But as a rookie, is it really a famous product right from the start?
Well, that's okay.
That chicken skin skewer… upon seeing it, I can tell that it consists of grilled chicken skin mixed with a sauce, and an excessive amount of chili peppers. It’s definitely extremely spicy!
Its appearance is quite attractive, but when eaten, it is almost not spicy at all.
There was hardly any garlic felt, so it was a rather basic approach to the dish.
Whether the chicken skin is crispy or soft is a matter of personal preference.
On the other hand, the Cold Noodle Wasaibu Kombu Sake is, as the name suggests, a dish where cold noodles are topped with wasaibu (the stem part) and chopped kombu.
The soy sauce was served without any additional seasonings, so it had a subtle aroma of wasaibira. The kombu was given a slightly reduced amount of flavor.
I prefer if there were a little more wakame.
During the meal, I ordered a lemon soursauce (380 yen), and for dessert, zaru soba (600 yen + an extra 190 yen for a larger portion).
When I visited before, the staff member didn’t speak to me, but to another customer instead.
“大盛りは3人前くらいですよ”
I heard them talking about this earlier. With this latest menu update (due to price increases), it was stated that the large portion size will be twice that of the regular portion size. So, even though I’m not a big eater, I can still eat comfortably with this change.
But it definitely leaves you feeling quite full.
Sometimes, this is a restaurant that satisfies the desire to eat plenty of soba noodles.

On Saturday lunch, I visited "Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi Store".
Predicting that it would be present during the season, I decided to visit. And indeed, it was there.
Curry Soba: 850 yen
Medium-sized portion: 100 yen
Order.
カレーそばはもちろん冬季限定の商品であり、またこの店舗ではランチタイム限定のものとなっています。
So, I ate here for the first time in a long time.
It's rare to see mochi featured in the menu.
Also, it’s rare to see cabbage included in the menu.
The taste is similar to the curry commonly found at ordinary soba restaurants.
The dashi is very effective.
Ah, it was comfortable.
Making it a curry soba was the right choice.
While eating, I started to break out in a sweat.
And even so, there are quite a lot of people in their middle age.
The bowl is filled tightly with soba.
それでもなんとか完食しました。
But after finishing eating, as soon as you leave the restaurant, it gets really cold!
I’ve already finished my shopping, so let’s just head back home quickly.
“Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keiyokyuu Tsurumi-jo”
This is a soba restaurant belonging to the Gourmet Sukiyama Group, which occupies a tenant space on the first floor of the elevated Keikyū Sukimie Station.
I come here frequently, but this time there was a slight delay.
平日の午後6時頃。
Entering the restaurant, I first ordered a Hoppy Black set for 420 yen.
Additionally, cold tomato (230 yen) and fish meat sausage sticks (330 yen).
Fish Nissō Ten, quite good.
Is there no source material?
I noticed that there was a thin layer of salt sprinkled on it.
And in the menu, there was a limited-time item called “Wei-san’s Royal-style Dumplings”.
This is a menu that I see for the first time.
Who is Wei-san?
After investigating, it turns out that he is a renowned chef at a famous high-end Chinese restaurant called "Yi Zhi Zhou Ru" located in Kyoto.
Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that.
The menu offers two types of "King-style dumplings that enhance the umami of ginger" and "King-style dumplings eaten with radish leaves". Each type comes in three pieces.
Well then, shall we try Renge's dish first? It costs 280 yen.
After a while, the dumplings arrived. Their appearance is exactly similar to those of the “Dumpling King” brand. Even the size is the same.
The restaurant reviews mention eating with renge, but they don’t specify where renge is located.
The female staff member who brought it over asked, "Don't you have any renge?" She replied, "Yes, we don't have any renge."
Many customers asked me that question.
I also think it's strange.
Hahaha. What does that mean?
While thinking about it, I decided to try eating it. Oh, what a rich taste! These dumplings are truly exceptional.
I've never tasted a dumpling with such a strong flavor before.
They also serve the sauce for the dumplings with them. However, when the sauce is added, the taste becomes too strong. The sauce is not necessary.
And, eating with renge means that the soup will come out from the inside. So, I’m prepared for that. But, not much soup comes out actually.
Even without renge, there's no problem at all.
Upon investigation, it turns out that this dumpling was developed by the gourmet restaurant Gulemē Chūya under the supervision of Chef Wei. It is intended to be sold through a vending machine set up at the train station.
Currently, vending machines have been installed at three stations of the Osaka Metro.
Why in Osaka?
And after further investigation, I found out that the headquarters of "Gurume Chiyoya" is actually in Osaka.
By the way, it is planned to install a total of 100 vending machines at stations in Osaka and Tokyo in the future.
ホッピーは、中身を2回追加して注文しました(各200円)。最後に、ざるそば中盛りを食べて、その場で食事を終えました(660円)。
The total bill was 2,320 yen.
I tried eating these dumplings, and they were truly of a very high quality.
Let's definitely try the other "pork dumplings that enhance the umami of ginger."

March mid-week Saturday, a day when it rained and winter returned again.
On such a day, I thought it would be appropriate to have hot curry udon or curry soba for lunch. So, I went to that udon restaurant that I hadn’t visited in a while. But before I knew it, the restaurant had turned into a drink shop.
If that’s the case, let’s try visiting the popular restaurant in Keihin Tsurumi, where they serve soba with curry soba.
Sit down at the table and look at the menu. There is no curry soba listed...
When I asked the staff if they had curry soba, they said that it was already finished and that now they served arare and mountain vegetables with rolo soba.
I see, curry soba is a seasonal menu, isn't it?
In that case, I would like a lunch-only Katsumaki set meal for 890 yen, and also a lemon soursauce drink for 320 yen, available only during the day.
Soba can be chosen as either warm or cold, so we choose the warm version.
This is the 118th segment of 310 in our restaurant-review translation project. Please translate only this segment while maintaining natural wording.

This is the soba I often order here. However, the Katsudon meal is a limited-time offer during lunch hours, isn’t it?
It's been a long time since I've had this.
The katakaki is quite small. Was it really that small?
But the soba here is quite a bit, so I finished eating the soba and the tsukudon, and I'm quite satisfied.
Could you please provide a full meal for this Katsudon, even at night?
「私の蕎麦、ウィングキッチン京急鶴見店」です。
I come here almost every week, but since I usually eat the same kind of food all the time, it's been a long time since I've posted a review.
A noodle restaurant located on the ground floor of the elevated Keikyu Tsushimi Station.
No matter what you say, the convenience of being able to reach the station platform in just 2 minutes after leaving the restaurant is really great.
Moreover, this place is quite delicious.
Well, after finishing my work, I arrived at Keikyu Tsushimi Station just before 6 p.m.
It's cold, so let's eat some hot soba before heading home.
Let's drink a beer before continuing.
And I entered the restaurant.
First, let's have a draft beer (480 yen).
Also, choose from the limited menu for this season the "Piri-Spicy Soybean Pot" (430 yen).
While I was drinking beer and waiting, a small pot arrived.
Actually, this isn’t my first time ordering this dish. Most of the time, I order kaki-fry along with this dish.
The single-use small pot is prepared with miso. It has a mild spiciness due to the addition of chili peppers. The ingredients include pork butt, cabbage, and green peas.
Enough for one person.
This is a fantastic deal at 430 yen.
Using a hot pot can help warm up the body.
I accidentally drank all of my beer, so please order me a lemon soursauce (320 yen) as a supplement.
そして、最後のそばがいつもの昆布そばだろうと思ったその時、見慣れないカレーそばのメニューを見つけました。
Well, there's no other choice but to ask for their help.
And, I ordered the curry soba (740 yen).
I asked the staff member who took my order if they could serve both medium-sized and large portions. They said it was possible.
Additionally, this is actually a lunch menu, but today I've decided to serve it since there's some left over.
I see, that was a lucky thing.
I brought over the curry soba.
The soup in the bowl of rice has a faint curry flavor.
Lots of volume.
The menu states, “featuring the rich flavors of spices.” But before anything about spices, it’s still the curry from that soba restaurant.
The broth is very effective.
The soup is thick and smooth; floating on top are pork butt meat, Chinese cabbage, green onions, garlic, and spicy herbs.
The spiciness is a bit lacking, so I used the seven-spice chili powder on the table to enhance the flavor.
I enjoyed eating the curry soba at that restaurant I hadn't visited in a while.
Not only are the curry dishes at this curry specialty store delicious, but the curry-soba at that soba restaurant is also extremely tasty.
It's a pleasure to be able to stay here today.

“Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi-Tei”
This is a soba chain restaurant that occupies a tenant space on the first floor of the elevated Keikyu Tsushimi Station.
I come here almost every week.
It's a station-side restaurant, so you can get a quick drink there. Also, there aren't many soba houses around this area.
It seems that many people have the same thoughts. When I arrived around 6:30 p.m., the restaurant was only half full. However, soon after, it was almost completely filled.
There are many men, but there are also quite a few women ordering their meals alone.
It's a bright and easy-to-enter restaurant, isn't it?
Recently, it's finally started to get warmer, so today I'll have cold soba.
I thought I would have just one beer before that.
Live beer: 480 yen
Noyazawa Pickled Vegetables 200円
Order.
Live beer, will be delivered immediately.
This restaurant seems to be a bit expensive when it comes to alcoholic beverages.
The otsumaki are reasonably priced, you know.
Nosazawa vegetables are neither excellent nor poor.
If it's 200 yen, then it's of good quality.
Since the restaurant is getting crowded, it's better to place additional orders early.
Zaru Soba: 540円
Large serving: 130 yen
toppings的鸡胸肉 70日元×2个
After all, it took a little time to prepare the zaru soba and chicken tendon. They arrived.
It's a restaurant that I frequently visit, but this might be the first time I've ordered a large portion there.
That's quite big.
Compared to rumors about certain restaurants serving "Fuji Mountain" portions, or other restaurants offering three times larger portions, this seems to be a relatively small portion. However, the quality of the portion is quite impressive.
Perhaps twice the usual amount?
And yet, the additional charge of 130 yen is quite pleasing.
The soba in the pork chop dish is topped with plenty of soba soy sauce. There’s also an additional amount of soy sauce, which is very reassuring.
It's very considerate.
The soba is thoroughly cooled, and it tastes excellent.
Of course, one shouldn't expect the quality of a famous restaurant, but the level of the soba is definitely high enough.
The soya soup for buckwheat is just okay.
The chicken teriyaki was actually smaller than expected.
Perhaps it wasn't necessary to place an order for this...
However, as expected from a restaurant serving large portions of soba, it doesn’t seem to decrease significantly.
Even so, I managed to finish everything. Thank you very much for the hospitality.
I received soba soup and took a moment to rest.
This soba soup would have been even better if it had been hot.
It's a bit too spicy.
The total payment amount is 1490 yen.
I drank one beer, and even had enough soba for my hunger to be satisfied. It was a satisfactory experience.
Payment can be made via d-pay, or before that, you can also present your d-point card to earn double points. Don’t forget to do so.
After drinking and dining at a nearby izakaya, we decided to visit a noodle restaurant as a final treat.
It's not the time of year when it's too hot, so I would like a warm soba.
I thought it was fried egg soba, but actually, there isn't any.
Therefore, after various considerations, the order was
Kitsune Soba: 610 yen
Yes.
The restaurant is very lively inside.
Once the provision of alcoholic beverages is resumed, surely everyone will come here for a drink after work.
きつねそばが到着しました。
A large bowl contains one big fried egg, simply placed there.
I was worried that the fried food might be too sweet, but it wasn’t at all sweet. It was actually quite acceptable.
Both the buckwheat and the flavorless soy sauce are truly satisfying in their quality.
Along with the fried tofu, the katsudon set is also running out.
When I asked the staff if the katsudon set was gone, they replied that it was only available until 5 p.m.
It seems that this situation arose along with the reopening of alcoholic beverage services. What is the connection between this and the offering of katsudon sets?
Well, there must be various reasons for that.
But I really hope that the Katsudon set will be available again after 17:00.

“Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi-kei”
A noodle house that I frequently visit, located on the first floor of Keikyu Tsushimi Station.
Today
Cats Dondou Set Meal: 870 Yen
I ordered soba served with a warm broth.
Around 6 p.m., there was one male customer, and a few more people came later; all of them were male customers, each with their own individual dining experience.
After a while, a full order of Katsu Don arrived.
Just like I received it the other day, but at that time it was cold soba.
And, somehow, today's soba soup seems to have a lighter color compared to usual.
Originally, this restaurant’s soup is rather thin for the warm soba. It doesn’t really have the charm of a traditional Kanto-style soba shop. But today, this trend has become even more pronounced.
However, it doesn’t have the distinctive umami flavor that is typical of Kansai-style restaurants; in short, the taste is quite mild.
So, it's not that it's completely unacceptable. In fact, I don't really dislike it at all.
I don't like the way the buckwheat grows too much, so I'll eat all the buckwheat first.
As usual, the portion is a bit larger.
When placing the order, I briefly considered choosing a medium-sized portion, but it was better to hold back that thought.
Well, while enjoying the soba, I deliberately forgot about the katsu-don.
Even after finishing the soba, there is still a katsu-don waiting for me – a happy situation (although the size is small).
With soba soup as a side dish, we also enjoyed the katsu-don very much.
Additionally, when serving the cold soba, there were fried balls served alongside it. Even after absorbing the soy sauce in the latter part of the meal, the fried balls still retained a chewy texture. This was truly delightful.
By the way, the background music that plays is modern jazz.
Only one person was present in the quiet interior of the restaurant, where the loud and energetic tenor saxophone could be heard.
What I am eating are very Japanese-style soba and katsu-don.
It was a truly surreal atmosphere.
「私の蕎麦、ウィングキッチン京急鶴見店」さん。
A noodle house owned by Chubey Holdings, located as a tenant on the first floor of the elevated station of Keikyu Tsushimi Station.
Today, it was a bit late (although it was already past 6:30 p.m.), so I went to a convenient store within the station area.
Unfamiliar
Spicy meat miso and fried eggplant cold soba (medium portion) – 810 yen
So, I placed an order.
Medium-sized portion costs just 70 yen more than a regular portion.
Therefore, the volume increases quite significantly.
By the way, there is also a large-sized portion option available, but I'm too scared to try it.
Now, the soba has arrived.
Just as shown in the sample photo of the menu, the appearance is quite beautiful.
At the bottom of the bowl, there is a liquid called “tare” or “omokuchi”. So, we simply mix them together roughly.
Even so, it divides into areas of meat miso, green onions, and cucumbers.
The meat miso isn't as spicy as claimed, with a pungent and spicy flavor.
The sweetness was hardly noticeable, and the texture was sticky. However, the minced ingredients I could taste were quite pleasant.
The fried eggplant also doesn’t have much impact on the taste. As ingredients, just the fresh texture of green onions and cucumbers is appealing. This means that the meat miso and the fried eggplant don’t really stand out.
As I felt last time, the soba was thoroughly cooled down, which is great.
Therefore, if it becomes cooler from now on, ordering cold drinks might become more difficult.
In the second half, although the delicious meat miso had accumulated at the bottom of the pot, since there was a wooden spoon available, I carefully scooped it up and ate it with the liquid attached.
The soup isn't particularly salty; it seems to be designed for drinking.
It wasn't a bad order, but I wanted to order again... well, not really.
Perhaps it's better to stick to the classic menu items, after all.

“Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi-jo” – Our soba at Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi-jo.
It's a convenient restaurant that I often use—located within the Kowloon Line Tsurumi Station area (under the elevated structure).
I thought there were no rice dishes available before, but last time (last week), I found a set with the "donburi" meal. So, my order for today is...
Katsudon Set meal: 870 yen
We offer soba that can be chosen as warm or cold. So, I will have it cold.
After waiting for a while, my Katsu Dondyn order has arrived.
Soba served on a bamboo mat, along with a small-sized katsu-don.
First, let's start with soba.
It’s completely cold, and the food is delicious.
When ordering something cold at a street-side restaurant, sometimes the food can be just lukewarm. But here, they actually cool it properly.
While the soba itself may not be comparable to those of higher-priced soba restaurants, it is at least a notch above the simple standing soba.
I'm not sure exactly how good or bad the soy sauce is, but it's definitely not very good. (It doesn't have the strong aroma of soy sauce that I'm used to.)
The takoyaki is also kept warm, which is great.
It's not overly sweet either.
If it were a little bigger, maybe one or two sizes larger, that would be even more delightful.
Well, after enjoying the delicious food, it's time to pay the bill.
Previously, it offered d-points, but d-payment was not available. However, now d-payment is possible.
I asked the staff at the restaurant, and they said that they have started to handle such requests since August this year.
Today, I continued to use d-Points as usual before making the payment with Suica. But next time, I’ll opt for d-Payment instead.
“Ora ga Soemon Wing Kitchen Keikyu Tsushimi-kei”
A tenant located on the first floor of the Keikyū Tsushimi Station.
This is a restaurant belonging to the Gourmet Kiha Group.
Opened around 6 p.m. on a weekday.
Initially, there were only a few couples and individuals dining alone. However, as time went on, the place became quite crowded.
Well, first of all
Live beer: 480 yen
crunchy soy sauce pickled radish cold noodle 310 yen
3 종류의 튀김 요리 세트, 370엔
Order it.
The appetizers are relatively inexpensive, but compared to that, the beer is a bit more expensive.
ニラ冷奴とは、ニラとゴマを胡麻油で和え、豆腐と一緒に作られた料理です。シンプルですが、非常に美味しいです。
The three types of fried dishes are potatoes, shrimp, and shiitake mushrooms.
Both are quite small in size, but considering the price, it's acceptable.
It was a slightly chilly day, and the beer made it even colder. So, the additional orders were...
Soba Yozucha, Shiraimoku – Soba Yuzuriki, 390 yen
Chikuwa's Fried Chicharrones, 310 yen
You can choose to drink the shochu with hot water or as a lager.
It is served in a slightly larger version of the soba piggy bank style.
The chikuwa fried on the shore side consists of 2 pieces cut in half, totaling 4 pieces. As side dishes, there are also 2 pieces of shishito.
For the price, it feels like a good deal.
At the end,
Warm Tororo Soba, 660 yen
The bowl is quite large.
Add green onions and sliced seaweed as seasonings for tororo.
The soy sauce differs from the black soy sauce used in Kanto-style cuisine. It has a light brown color, and one can clearly sense the authentic umami of the broth.
There are 2 or 3 pieces of yuzu, giving a subtle yuzu flavor to the dish.
The soba itself is quite reasonable in terms of price, but the quantity is quite substantial.
In total, it was priced at 2,520 yen.
It's convenient for using as a place to drink a little and eat oshiruko.
As soon as you step out, you can take the Keikyu train.
