This restaurant is located in the vicinity of JR Iizuka Station in Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It's a Japanese-style izakaya.
It was once a sushi restaurant, but due to various circumstances, it now operates as a local pub.
The exterior resembles an old detached house, with a structure reminiscent of a former storage building. The interior is exactly what one would expect from a sushi restaurant from the Showa era.

Today, I have come to Iizuka. As you, the followers, can understand, this is the third restaurant I've visited.
“I really want to try sushi,” thought I, so I called and then went inside.
As soon as I sat down at the counter, the menu tray in front of me was empty. Laughing.
Perhaps seeing me, who was wondering about that, the female manager said, "Ah! We don’t serve sushi at all!" Laughing.
“Can I pick a little bit to drink?” When I asked, she replied, “Anything is fine.” So, I decided to give in.
The dishes served included potato salad, pickled vegetables, white beans, roll cabbage, grilled mackerel, stews, and more.
All of these dishes have a homey flavor with a bit of ingenuity, and they are simply delicious.
Especially the mackerel is well-cooked, combining the flavors of citrus and shiitake mushrooms to create a delightful taste.
Although there is no sushi, the atmosphere here is so comfortable that it feels like you've returned to your hometown. It really enhances the aftertaste of alcohol.
