A restaurant located 5 minutes walk from Exit No. 1 of Meiko Station on the Meiko Line, 10 minutes walk from Exit No. 3 of Kukawa Station on the same line, and 12 minutes walk from Exit No. 2 of Shimizu Station on the Seto Line.
On weekdays, from 17:00 to 24:00 (ending at 23:00 for salads and drinks), and on weekends and holidays, from 16:00 to 24:00 (ending at 23:00 for salads and drinks). The prices are as follows: salad and fruit combo is 580 yen (including tax: 646 yen); salad bar is 380 yen (including tax: 410 yen); fruit and cake combo is 380 yen (including tax: 410 yen); and drink bar is 180 yen (including tax: 194 yen).
These items cannot be ordered individually. Therefore, I ordered a salad, fruit, and a cake bar, along with a pork trotter kabab that costs 320 yen (tax included: 345 yen).
First, plates for salads and fruit cakes were served. It was expected that these plates would be used accordingly. However, it's not ideal that the plates cannot be exchanged.
I thought that with this price, it would be a buffet, but a salad bar is not the main course. In a steak and hamburger restaurant, it's normal to have something like curry rice alongside the salad bar. So, compared to that, it doesn't seem very appealing.
The lettuce and other vegetables were not in very bad condition, but perhaps due to lack of popularity, the cucumbers were left unattended for a long time, resulting in them becoming wilted.
Regarding the Fruit Cake Bar, although it's a cheap commercial product, it's nice that there's a free cake buffet. However, it's not something I would really want to eat in large quantities.
Although the prices of individual dishes are indeed low, there seem to be several menu items that are out of stock. Moreover, if a food lover wants to enjoy their meal to the fullest, the cost becomes quite high. Considering that there are other restaurants offering grilled meat buffets as well, it seems that the level of satisfaction is relatively low.
Just ordering one item from the salad, fruit, and cake bar can cost nearly 1,000 yen. If you can order just the salad, fruit, and cake bar as a single item, then honestly, it's better to spend a little more and go for the Sweets Paradise option.
Drinks included water and green tea, which were free of charge. However, the green tea was quite weak, resembling colored water more than tea. In that case, it didn’t really make a difference from just water.
