I like hand bones. Among them, I really love the "幻の手羽先" from the world's mountain restaurant.
I remember that when I visited this restaurant with my family in August, it was not possible to make reservations through Yumelog. However, somehow, it became possible to make reservations. Moreover, it seems that reservations can be made for individual seats only. This is really helpful. I visited this place on a weekend for a casual drink.
It was a reservation-based visit, but the restaurant was completely empty after 1pm. Speaking of which, as of August, even on weekends, it seemed to be open only from 5pm. It seems that the decision to change the opening hours to 12pm on weekends wasn’t made recently. I guess most people haven’t noticed this, so it must be a hidden gem. Good luck.
Sit down at the table and place your order right away.
幻の手羽先(辛さは基本)、味噌串カツ、生ビール。これで準備は整った。
A fresh beer is served immediately.
The first bite was exceptional!
Next, the elusive hand meat. Bend the bent part and break it off with a pop. Eat it from the larger bend. It's best to tear it apart with your teeth so that you can eat it cleanly. This way of eating is absolutely delightful.
The mysterious spice makes me drink endless beer. Can someone sell me some of this spice? Also, could someone teach me how to hide a knife in the meatballs?
The raw beer costs 594 yen per glass. It’s a bit expensive if you want to drink it indefinitely. There are ways to get a drink package where you can drink freely, but it’s a bit embarrassing for someone who is alone.
The third order was a fancy choice of craft beer. I also had the "幻の手羽先" (a rare specialty dish). The miso-katsu wasn’t bad, but it still couldn’t compare to the hand-raised meat.
Enjoyed a 30-minute solo drink session.
It was enjoyable.
Thank you for your hospitality!
The total cost is 3,531 yen.

During the summer holiday period, my family booked a visit to "Seikatsu no Yama-chan" in Akabu. It's a restaurant I really love, so I've eaten "幻の手羽先" (a rare dish) many times. But my wife, son, and daughter are here for the first time. We really want them to experience this addictive hand-eye dish.
I arrived at the restaurant and immediately ordered drinks and the elusive hand-cut chicken. I also ordered the "ginger-tataraki cucumber" that would be served soon.
Cheers! I and my son have light beer. My wife and daughter have soft drinks.
While we were chatting happily with the accompaniment of ginger and carrots, the much-anticipated hand-cut meat was served. The “幻のコショウ” was in a basic quantity, but it was quite heavily spiced. First, let me teach you how to eat it. You should twist the small, curved part of the bumerang and break it off with a pop. Then, use your upper and lower teeth to tear off the larger piece along with the bone. This way, the meat separates cleanly from the bone. Everyone was deeply impressed by this technique, and it was a moment that made me feel proud as someone who has experienced this before.
I also enjoy eating meals at Nagoya's restaurants. There are miso takoyaki and organ meat-yakizake soba. Whatever I order, it always tastes great.
The "幻の手羽先" is, of course, a repeat order. Indeed, the "幻のコショウ" is excellent in terms of "basic quality." I don’t mind getting my fingers dirty while enjoying it.
I'm glad that my family was satisfied as well.
Thank you for your hospitality!
