I visited this place on the night when I stayed at Fukuchiyama.
First time in Fukuchiyama.
Searched various options on Yumeklog.
I found a Japanese restaurant with a rich menu and delicious dishes.
It is located about 6 minutes' walk from the south entrance of Fukuchiyama Station. Upon entering the store, I was directed to a counter.
I ordered a six-course meal as requested.
There is a famous dish or popular menu at this restaurant.
This course contains exactly what is included.
クラゲ酢 最初に出される酢物です。
Sashimi and other prepared dishes.
The menu states there are 3 types, but there were actually many more.
Shima Aji
Taino Matsu Kōri
Steamed tuna wrapped in seaweed
Hirame
Yokowa's Tattaki
I thought it would be dry since I had prepared it, but the taste was just average.
Is the tuna fragrant with seaweed?
Yokowa also becomes fragrant and delicious when grilled.
Beef tendon daikon is a popular menu item. The broth made from the fat of the tendons is excellent. The miso-flavored version is just right; it's not too rich.
Handmade tofu – this is also a popular menu item. It’s recommended to eat it with salt. I tried eating it plain. The texture has fine pores, but the tofu is firm and delicious. Indeed, the salt really complements it!
The original cold wine is delicious! It's extremely easy to drink. It seems that it was made at a sake-making shop in Fushimi. This is the most cost-effective type of cold wine.
The fried trout served at the restaurant was crispy! The bitterness of the trout was really nice! The eggplant was also thick-fleshed and delicious!
Wow! They provided a special item for me,❗️ The chef was very kind!
Kobe beef stew – this is also a popular menu item. The soup is rich in the flavor of beef broth, and it’s delicious. The sweetness of the onions is well expressed. The sliced beef is cooked until tender and soft!
Additional homemade karasumi added. Karasumi placed on the radish. The two on the far right are karasumi placed on cheese. The cheese has a stronger flavor, so it’s recommended to eat it alongside the radish. Yes, it smells great… The saltiness is a bit too strong, but it’s perfect as an appetizer with alcohol. I thought the cheese might be too rich, but the saltiness of the karasumi offsets that, so maybe this option is better. (^^)
Asoari's Steamed Sushi – Sushi wrapped in egg. Inside, there’s asoari. It’s steamed, so it’s very soft. It has a flavor reminiscent of a light Chinese snack. But since it’s sushi, it also has a tangy taste due to the vinegar used. It’s delicious.
The chef is a tough-looking person, but when you talk to him, he's actually very kind.
The service at this restaurant is also very local and friendly, which is quite pleasant.
Both the food and the alcohol were delicious.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
