The "Okinawa料理 いち 新宿店" is located near the Shinjuku Post Office at the west entrance of Shinjuku Station. The entrance is on the first floor of a building. You can make a reservation for a seat only at 7 PM on weekdays. After entering the store, you need to take the stairs down to the ground floor.
On the counter seats facing each other, there is a table with a deep seating area. The seat fee for one person is 390 yen. The dish served is pork tofu stew. According to the information, there are no single-item drinks available besides the course meals. Both the food and drinks can be ordered for free.
The menu features dishes that have a Okinawa-style flavor. I simply order the dishes that I want to eat, one after another.

“Mo-yaruro is a type of Ramen restaurant that doesn’t serve noodles. Do you want extra garlic? I declined the request, but the garlic oil is included from the start. Stir it well, and the garlic will make it more flavorful.”
Spam and potatoes were stir-fried together with onions. The garlic also contributed to the flavor, making it seem like a dish that boosts stamina. The pork sausage was laid out neatly on a plate, cut with a knife for easy consumption. It was baked until fragrant—delicious indeed.
The taro fried dishes are not clearly identified as Okinawan cuisine, but they are crisply fried and make excellent accompaniments to alcohol. Okinawan oden includes not only ordinary oden ingredients, but also things like spams. It was my first time trying oden made with spams, but it seems to pair well with any flavorings.
The drinks include Orion beer, as well as many local sake products from Okinawa. I tried various items, and all of them seemed delicious. I felt great as I headed home. Overall, I drank and ate quite a bit, but the cost per person was just a little over 4,000 yen.
Payment can be made using credit cards or PayPay. The dishes are mostly from Okinawa-style, and all of them were quite good. It seems that they serve lunch as well, so I definitely will come again, whether day or night.
