About 5 minutes' walk from Namba Station. This is a yakiniku restaurant with a rating of 3.59 on Yumlog. I had the opportunity to visit again as a customer.
From Shinzaibashi Street, a little to the east, there is a delicious alley called "Ryubey Yokochō". Despite being surrounded by a bustling crowd, this secluded atmosphere is truly unique and charming.
A traditional restaurant founded in 1958, still in operation for 66 years. The interior has only a counter, which can accommodate about 10 people. The distance between customers and the staff is quite close.
This time, it's a course costing 7,700 yen.
This menu offers 2 side dishes and a mixed platter of sashimi. In addition, there are 6 pieces of yakiniku, along with premium Japanese sake from brands like Shichida and Kinen, as well as premium sake from lesser-known producers like Moriizou and Murao. The meal also includes a tasting session where customers can compare different types of sake.
The side dishes included raw salmon kabayaki and hot spring eggs. The hot spring eggs had a yuzu-flavor, and they were really delicious.
The yakinobius are generally small in size. They are cooked with care over a charcoal fire, making them crispy, fragrant, and juicy.
This is a restaurant with authentic grilled chicken. Their skills and taste are truly remarkable.
The taste of the sauce is modest in terms of sweetness. I prefer foods with a sweet taste, but it pairs well with alcohol. It's quite good as it is.
I can choose any of the three types of drinks for comparison. I chose 3M (Mori Ikuzo, Muramoto, Maou). They served it with alcohol, but it might have been too much for someone like me who is not a good drinker (laughs). I didn’t really understand much, but it was good to gain some experience.
The meal came to an end in a flash. In terms of hunger, it would be better if there was some rice dishes available, but if the focus is on drinks, then that might be fine too.
The old shop owner occasionally speaks to us in a kind manner, and considering all these aspects, it's a good place indeed.
I would like to disturb you again.
Thank you for your hospitality.
