The owner of this restaurant grew up in a family where both parents were chefs. After three years working as a chef, he enrolled in a culinary school. Meanwhile, he also became a bartender. Later, he worked as a server in a restaurant and even served as a sommelier at a French restaurant. After that, he went to France to experience various cuisines. Eventually, he created his own unique style of cuisine and opened his own restaurant.

“キートス”はフィンランド語で「ありがとう」という意味です。岩見シェフが北欧風の雰囲気が好きだったため、フィンランド語の名前にしたそうです。

On weekdays, there’s a lunch menu costing 6,600 yen, available only on Saturdays. At night, there are courses priced at 11,000 yen, or individual dishes available as à la carte options.

I was recommended by a prominent food connoisseur from Aichi, so I made a reservation over the phone and visited.
Honestly, before visiting, I thought the owner might be a bit difficult to deal with. That's why I approached the visit with some hesitation.
The exterior design is playful and cute, giving a Nordic feel from a glance at it.
The color scheme in front of the counter is blue, and here and there, a Nordic atmosphere can be felt.
The seating arrangement is a small establishment with a counter and one table for four people.
At first, I was hesitant to start conversations, but gradually, I found it easy to engage in various discussions with them. It was a truly enjoyable experience. What stood out the most was that the chef had traveled extensively and shared many stories about delicious restaurants from all over the country. This led to quite lively conversations.

While talking with him, I realized that although he doesn’t put much emphasis on decoration, he is a person with a very kind heart.
Regarding the cuisine, simply put, it was a direct confrontation with the ingredients. The main ingredients were placed prominently on the table. Moreover, considering the price of the courses, the quality of the ingredients used was incredibly high.
It was an incredible dining experience where, seemingly, every dish left us completely exhausted.
※I've visited many restaurants across the country, but the only one that maintains this style of service is Piatt Mitsumi, which has moved from Fukuoka to Tokyo. It was a great relief to find such a place again; I couldn't be more happy.
Therefore, this restaurant makes it so that what you eat is vividly remembered.
It’s also a one-person operation, but there’s no sense of hurry or hustle, so it was extremely comfortable to be there.
Regarding the cuisine, I hope you will read the details later. Each dish was so delicious that it seemed like the prices were incorrect. It was truly a delightful experience with only delicious dishes available.
On this day, I had to drive and thus couldn't enjoy wine. However, it turned out to be a restaurant I really love, and I've decided to visit it again soon.
