Last weekend, I went drinking with a friend and used their place.
This is a place that I often use to have parties with friends who live in Ueyo. It’s a reasonable and decent-quality restaurant, so even though it’s a chain store, it shouldn’t be underestimated.
This time, the friend I went with (not related to the aforementioned group of friends) said that "it's better to choose a place that is as cheap as possible." So, without hesitation, we chose this place.
This time, I ordered one medium-sized beer bottle and a bottle of premium sake measuring 900 ml. Additionally, I ordered three types of hoppies as appetizers. The list of appetizers includes the items listed below.
Bonjiriponzu
Personally, this is a recommendation.
This dish is made by marinating fried tofu with ponzu sauce and green onions. The creamy texture of the tofu is enhanced when it meets the freshness of green onions and ponzu sauce, turning into a savory and rich flavor that is truly delicious.
Nigai Tenge
This is a tempura made with deep valley green onions. Given its large quantity and the price of only ¥300, the cost-effectiveness is quite good.
The sweetness of the garlic and the crispy aroma of the crust make it a delicious dish. I’ll add another plate.
Ham Katsu
It has a thick texture and an orthodox flavor. It pairs well with chili sauce or sause, regardless of how it is prepared.
Hand parts
The degree of cooking and the juicyness are both excellent. When served with the kočujang that was brought out together with the pot, the flavor is even more enhanced.
Fried Squid Nama-ryo
Should I call it "Miso-flavored flying shrimp"? It's a quite unique preference, which is interesting.
Kaminari
This is a spicy stew, but the soft and rich flavor of the stew combines well with the tangy chili peppers, making it truly delicious.
Gatsufly
This place didn’t leave a strong impression on me, but the food was generally delicious.
Ultimately, it cost ¥5360 for two people. Considering that this is the price, it’s quite reasonable.
My friends also really liked it, which is the most important thing.
When will I be able to come again? I really didn’t get to try the Haoju-yaki this time… I really need to order it again.
