This is a Korean cuisine restaurant specializing in beef and pork grilled meats, located about 5 minutes' walk from Ueno Station's Iwayaguchi. This restaurant offers gift discounts through Hot Pepper Gourmet: 3,000 points can be used to get a discount. Since this restaurant was among the businesses that offered such discounts, we decided to visit it on a Friday evening, along with two colleagues from work, in order to expand our business there. We made an online reservation for a dinner package including 7 dishes, such as Wagyu stew and handmade meat dumplings. The price was 3,850 yen (including tax). We arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes before the scheduled time at 6 PM. There were only a few customers already inside when we entered.
Today’s course menu consists of a total of 7 dishes: potato fries, edamame, spicy Korean tofu salad, fried chicken, eel and green pepper tempura, beef stewed tofu, and handmade meat dumplings. First, each person orders their favorite drink to start the meal. The first dish served is namul with green peas, which isn’t part of the main course but is served as an appetizer. After that, potato fries and edamame are served. It’s time to end the warm-up portion now. The spicy Korean tofu salad features a large amount of tofu placed on top of a salad of tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and green onions. On top of that, spicy sauce and chopped green onions are added. After that, fried chicken and eel with green pepper tempura are served in succession. The fried chicken is freshly fried and quite delicious. The eel and green pepper tempura have a thick texture with a moist feel. They also go well with the spicy sauce and are highly recommended.
