I invited some friends from Tokyo to join us again. It just so happened that it was the birthday of the chef, so a regular customer who came to celebrate brought us champagne. It was a very enjoyable dinner with the chef, his wife, and their son and wife. The food was just as delicious as last time and even before that. My friends from Tokyo seemed to be very satisfied. We will definitely come again.
3年前、以前のレビューで紹介された焼カレーを食べた後、夜はここでそれを味わいました。
In my first visit to a new place, I usually go to a sushi restaurant for dinner.
I really enjoy sitting at the counter and chatting with the chef about local matters while enjoying my meal.
I also searched for information online, and since it seemed promising, I decided to give it a try.
I received a variety of items, but there was only one photo of the dishes.
The sashimi of anchovies left a lasting impression.
The evening was a pleasant and lively gathering, with engaging conversations among the other customers as well.
The chef here is a master of leaf tea crafts, and he has appeared on television several times.
I also remember seeing a report about leaf lantern crafts on television over 20 years ago. When I mentioned this, someone said, "That wasn’t me." At that time, the TV showed a small knife used for crafts (it was said to be an old-fashioned knife). However, when I saw the knives in the store, they were also worn-out and thin. It might have really been the master chef.
Let me ask again: I will take photos of the dishes and the magnificent leaf lantern decorations, and then upload them.
I had planned to visit again immediately, but in the end, it took seven years.
This year, during the September holiday period, I considered taking a tour across the Kinmen Strait. On the first day, I went to Moji Port.
Minamidōri has been mentioned several times, and I’ve already visited most of its major tourist attractions. So, after eating grilled curry, I took a short break at the hotel.
I visited this place around 7 o’clock. I sat at the very back of the counter, which had about 10 seats. There were several families with children, as well as couples where one partner had just reached adulthood. The counter was almost completely filled.
I informed them that it was my first visit in 7 years. I showed them the photos taken at that time.
The menu is designed to be completely at your discretion. The dishes start with green beans steamed with soy sauce and eel boiled in broth. There are also unique items like nuka-zuke anchovy fried crisply and sesame tofu served as tempura. Nuka-zuke is my favorite food, and sesame tofu is something I really love. Both of these dishes are excellent.
The sashimi is delicious, including the classic species like tuna. However, the white fish served with cherry blossom-flavored salted vegetables is truly outstanding. The shrimp is even more delicious when eaten with only wasabi and salt. At the end of the sashimi portion, there's a type of salted food that has been soaked in water; this part is also very good.
After 7 years, we were finally able to post a photo of the chef’s barrandō work. This time, our conversation with other customers also went well, making it an absolutely wonderful evening. I’ll let you know that I’ll definitely come back again. Thank you very much for the delicious food and hospitality.
