Located about 5 minutes walk from the Takahata Station on the subway, this barbecue restaurant opened on October 5, 2017. I visited it on a weekday night. The interior has a counter with 10 seats and two private rooms. I arrived around 6:30 PM, but there were no other customers in the place.
The meat offered includes beef and pork, but there was no chicken. The cuts are standard and available, but the variety seems to be limited. In terms of prices, the beef cuts are as follows: Kallbi costs 890 yen, organ meats cost 690 yen, and most of the pork cuts cost 390 yen. All regular menu items are under 1000 yen, so the prices aren’t particularly high.
First, there was a limited-time offer until 19:00, where a set of two drinks came with beef hormones for just 1000 yen. I ordered that set. The beef hormones had a slightly oily texture, but they weren’t smelly at all. The fat was crispy and tender, and the sauce tasted great, very agreeable to me.
I ordered additional kalbi and tonchan. The kalbi didn’t quite meet my preferences, but the tonchan had a good amount of fat, so it was quite delicious.
Finally, I ordered the limited-time “3-second rost” for two meals a day. I was torn between the thick-cut beef teriyaki and another option, but I’m really weak when it comes to the word “limited”… (laugh)
The part of the 3-second roe was cooked using a toromasankaku method, ensuring that it wasn’t overcooked. It was grilled in a way that made it extremely tender and delicious.
The hormone was extremely delicious, so the limited set available until 19:00 is really good. I’m not sure if they serve this set all the time, but it’s recommended to visit early and add more items to this set. Thank you for the meal.
